Mary's appearance at the Copenhagen City Hall highlighting equal rights as specified by the UN, which also encompass sexual rights, was unintentionally very current.
Because the mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, was MeToo'ed Monday, where he resigned as a mayor and from politics.
I will not go into the details, nor the who, why or whether it was justified, that would merit a whole thread in it's own right!
But right now we are having a second MeToo wave among politicians.
Only last week a party leader was resigned, and his successor, a woman, may not last long in her new post.
Today another politician was resigned from his posts...
- So right now politics in DK is... interesting... to follow!
However, my point is that Mary knew them, and she will know those who about to fall next, because there will be more.
These are people, men who perpetrated and women who helped covering it up, who all, no doubt wholeheartedly and sincerely, have lend both political and moral support to Mary when she has been representing DK (and herself) in speaking up for women's rights in DK and abroad.

Well, I have no idea about women's fashion so I can give my unbiased opinion:
It's dull! Boring! Black in black.  And I thought girls outgrew the combination of skirts and leggins (I think it's called) at around age 8.
And the dresses on the rack, there are shut-eye-dolls who wouldn't be caught dead wearing it!
If this is the produce of the prize-winner, I hate to see the losing contestants contributions.

I'm very glad that Mary put focus on such issues as female circumcision and forced marriages.
There has IMO been, certainly in DK recently, an unfortunate tendency to shall we say push these irreversible and completely life changing examples that happens to many millions of girls and women worldwide back, in favor of examples of abuse that are perhaps more relatable to Westeners on a day to day basis.
While all forms of abuse are wrong, that goes without saying, they are not in the same category.

Where Mary seems to have misplaced her LiW for a moment.
An attentive observer noted that when Mary took of her coat, she hesitated for a moment, seemingly expecting her LiW to take her coat. (So that Mary could focus on her job.) But there were no LiW around to take the coat, so Mary placed it over a chair. Later on the LiW was back from her walkabout.

The Palace released two photos of Crown Princess Mary today, announcing:
"This afternoon, Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess recorded a video that will be shown tomorrow when a very special virtual summit is held on the well-being of young people during COVID-19.

Crown Princess Mary was in a bubbling mood when she today in bright sunshine told about today's meeting at Christiansborg and how good it is to finally get a little out of the home office at Amalienborg.
Journalist question: "Crown Princess Mary, is it nice to be let out a bit again instead of sitting in the home office?"
Crown Princess Mary laughs out loud:
" - Yes! It's nice to get out and nice to experience a change of scene and feel the important work that is still going on despite the corona. And feel all the inspiration you get from others who also attended the meeting today. It was really lovely. Thank you very much."
