This afternoon, Crown Princess Mary well deserved received "The Womenomics Global Impact Award 2017" for her large work for girls and women in Denmark and abroad

DR video and article: "Crown Princess Mary receives a prize for her work for women's terms"

Thanks to Crown Princess Mary's tireless work for Denmark's women, she has today received the honors prize. Every time a mother and child/children enter the Danish Crisis Centers, the Mary Fund send them a backpack with the most necessary things such as a teddy bear, a toothbrush, toys and a postcard from Crown Princess Mary. One can not imagine how much it means for the mother and child in that situation. Thanks.
A very cheerful Mary on the Aarhus event this morning, here a nice gallery:

Here more pictures from her first event today:

She does a great job. Today she had her first officiel event in Aarhus, and right now she has her next official event in Copenhagen where Mary receives "The Womenomics Global Impact Award 2017".
With the distance between Aarhus and Copenhagen Mary has barely been able to reach home in the meantime.

BB inform us that at the upcoming meeting of OECD Forum in Paris on 6th June, Mary will be giving the opening speech. - The reason being that DK currently holds the chairmanship.
That is of course still a huge cadeau to Mary.
Those present at the forum are heavy-weights in regards to expertise and opinions.
The Danish PM will give the opening speech at the summit on the 7th for governments.

Thank you, Dazzling & Eya
As a Dane, and hopefully the rest of you who follow Mary from abroad as well, not least Australia, I think we can be pretty pleased with both her performance, her speech and the way she presented herself.
Well done, Mary.
To put it in Jutlandic-Danish: Hende kan vi godt være bekendt.(*) - Sorry I don't translate, but the sentence has a deeper meaning in Danish/Jutlandic.
And the Danish world-press... is covering her too, not that much though. (After all we all know the readers are stupid, so let's try not to burden them with too complicated topics): http://jyllands-posten.dk/internatio...ger-os-sammen/

Another dress.
(*) Something like: We won't be embarrassed by saying we know her

I always like seeing Mary doing this sort of substantive work. It's clear from listening to her that her words are backed up by actual experience and knowledge.

Mary has, as usually, done this trip fantastic and well prepared.
And she has looked wonderful. Trés belle.
Last event/dinner for Mary:

As usual, I'm not impressed with the DRF's social media.
From this trip they have posted 3 blurred pictures on Facebook of Mary holding the opening speech. Well okay, but what about the rest of the trip's many events?
I have to admit, I unfortunately think that the DRF on social media runs exactly the same tactics as all the other less serious media - they highlight the fun things and make a lot out of them (the Queen's summer cruise, birthday, Frederik and Mary visiting children etc.) while the less fun royal work stands in the shadow. IMO, it was precisely the DRF's own platforms who should inform us about all the boring, but important work the royals also does. Like our Crown Princess on a busy visit to France during the economic summit. Unfortunately, they just highlight the fun moments that all other media also highlight...

Billedbladet writes about a situation which is why Crown Princess Mary is so loved and respected as she is...
"It was actually planned that Mary should has held a official speech. However, this was changed in the last minute. Instead of the speech, Mary wished to spend the time talking face to face with some of the many guests to the reception whom were previously placed children or young and so-called back-lenders."

And isn't it exactly what life is about?
What a busy week for our Crown Princess...
Today, an unofficial event for Crown Princess Mary:
Quote:
HRH The Crown Princess was today hosting a meeting in Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg, where Tostan's director Molly Melching told of the organization's work on changing social norms.
Tostan is a headquarters in Senegal, which through education and training helps local communities in Africa to create sustainable development and social transformation based on human rights.
