Well i would prefer Mary and Frederik as King and Queen of Australia rather than Charles. But idealy, i would prefer no monarch as i am a republican. (Im only interested in royal history etc, thats why im on these boards:))

Why do they do these silly polls? Have they forgotten that monarchy is not a popularity contest? If it was, Frederik would have been booted out in favor of his younger brother Joachim a few years back.
Thank God for primogeniture! :)

Really? It was published in June and said they'll be moving there sometime "next year".
Interesting!

Mary's maternal leave turned out to be a short one, bt.dk reports. She'll join the rest of the royal family at a memorial concert for Queen Ingrid in Tivoli this Sunday, at 20:00.
She'll also join the welcome lunch for the Norwegian royals on the 7th.

Which Norwegian Royals are travelling to Denmark?
I assume Mette-Marit will not be going which is a pity, I would love to see how Mette-Marit and Mary interact with one another.

This is sort of off topic (but Mary related)...I was just wondering if someone could tell me what this photo is from? http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...hmentid=181181 (I've tried to look through many threads, but I still can't figure it out. Please help me out...and my apologizes if I've posted this in the wrong thread, I wasn't sure where to ask.)

An article from BT
I've just translated this article from the tabloid www.bt.dk on CP Mary's first public engagement since the birth of the little prince.
Mary back in the spot light
Crown Princess Mary appeared in the public during a festive concert in honour of Queen Ingrid in the renovated Tivoli Concert Hall.
Most of the Royal Family participated Sunday evening in a grand memorative concert in honour of Queen Ingrid. At the same time, it was first time Crown Princess Mary appeared publicly since she gave birth to a son on October 15.
About 1500 spectators were at Tivoli Concert Hall, which at the same time was re-openede after 10 months of renovations. The arrangement was led by Queen Margrethe and her two sisters, Princess Benedikte and ex-Queen Anne-Marie.
About a week ago the concert had a cancellation when conductor Mstislav Rostropovich cancelled. But in a very short time they hired conductor Leonard Slatkin which took over the baton at the memorative concert.
The income of the arrangement went to two legates (foundation who gives out scholarships) for young musicians.
