She seems to be glowing in every picture that I have seen her in..but that dress does seem to not fit her style that she usually portrays...and as everyone is asking..where is Fred?

A very happy and beautiful princess indeed. A picture of contentment, happiness of impending motherhood. What a clever choice of dress to suit the event!
Fred is acting Regent and probably has some work to do the palace. I am sure he would love to keep his lovely wife company if he could but sometimes state matters and other official matters need priority attention I presumed.

I really like the dress she had just worn yesterday.It was a nice and beautiful dress really suits on her and match for summer.But i also do not have much interest in the purse and the shoes, i think they completely do not match with the dress.

I think her fashion style hasn't been as glamorous and stylish as before is because being pregnant you don't get that much choice of clothes and there's no point spending lots and lots of money on clothes to dress up when it won't be fitting her once she gives birth...^___^

I wonder, is Mary naturally thin? Or does it take alot of care for her to stay thin. Now I woudln't question if someone said that Letizia is thin cuz she is naturally thin, but with Mary I get concerned sometimes.

She's a thin girl and not everyone gets really completely fat when they're having a baby.

She's done MUCH better in the past. This dress is very frumpy and doesn't do her any favors. This is unusual for her, because I've really liked all her other pregnancy fashion decisions until now.

I don't agreed that Letizia is naturally thin. Have you seen the pictures of her during her working days with the TV station. She looked good with a full round face. But after her marriage she has lost so much weight and looked painfully thin .But she has put on a little now with her pregnancy and looked much better and happier.

Mary is very active in sports like horse riding, jogging, etc before her pregnancy. But has to put this on hold during her pregnancy. But she still does yoga ,light workout and walks during her pregnancy.That could explain how well she looked, fit, healthy and active during her pregnancy.

Yeah, I like Mary's dress as well. She does look really radiant and beautiful. The dress is very classic and appropriate for the occasion. Nice dress !

The dress is good but the shoes are not my favorite. She looks very fresh with her hair pulled back. All in all, I would say that she has done a good job of dressing during her pregnancy.

I love the dress , the hairstyle (practical in the heat and suited the dress) and the bouquet they've given her... the shoes and the bag didnt quite fit in... thanks for sharing.

The black handbag and shoes are to harsh with the floral print. The bag and shoes should have been a taupe or a beige color.

The handbag is actually dark purple and the shoes biege with purple edging.

The Crown Princess Mary was dressed in a dress with large flowers as she Monday 22.08.2005 visited the exhibition To write a love song about the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen's difficulties to learn to write and read at the Thorvaldsen Museum in Copenhagen. The Australian born Mary saw the exhibition to mark the founding of the Hans Christian Andersen ABC Foundation which will combat illiteracy all over the world. I agree; she is glowing. Pregnancy really does become her. I think the added weight made her look healthier and rounder. I hope her pregnancy progresses well.

According to Svensk Damtiding (a Swedish magazine that isn't too reliable, but still...) her due date is around 25 October.

I thought you were kidding, but you probably weren't.

Anyway, all I can say is that, despite her tummy and the material of her dress (very delicate and floaty so who could blame her if it looked "crumpled" when she sat down), Mary did make an attempt to straighten her skirt. Sometimes with pictures, we don't know really when it was taken: if it was taken before or after a particular act etc.

I especially like how Mary didn't just start doing heaps and heaps of events straight away just to please some people. I think she has done her homework (researching the organisations she is going to support) and now we see the fruits of that. And of course she's undoubtedly doing some more behind the scenes.

That chair doesn't look like the easiest to sit down elegantly in, when you are pregnant it must have been especially difficult to make it look elegant, her feet barely touch the ground. I'm 5'2 so my feet would probably have been hanging off the end of the seat.

the problem is that she looked too laid down. the perfect posture to sit in a chair is straight and never "lay down" on it.
however, it may also have been a problem of the chair...
