Mary has been very busy since returning from her holidays. When is her actual due date?

According to Svensk Damtiding (a Swedish magazine that isn't too reliable, but still...) her due date is around 25 October.

I thought you were kidding, but you probably weren't.

Anyway, all I can say is that, despite her tummy and the material of her dress (very delicate and floaty so who could blame her if it looked "crumpled" when she sat down), Mary did make an attempt to straighten her skirt. Sometimes with pictures, we don't know really when it was taken: if it was taken before or after a particular act etc.

Here are pics of Mary straightening her skirt: http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...hmentid=184402 http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...hmentid=184413

I especially like how Mary didn't just start doing heaps and heaps of events straight away just to please some people. I think she has done her homework (researching the organisations she is going to support) and now we see the fruits of that. And of course she's undoubtedly doing some more behind the scenes.

Go MARY!!

That chair doesn't look like the easiest to sit down elegantly in, when you are pregnant it must have been especially difficult to make it look elegant, her feet barely touch the ground. I'm 5'2 so my feet would probably have been hanging off the end of the seat.

the problem is that she looked too laid down. the perfect posture to sit in a chair is straight and never "lay down" on it.
however, it may also have been a problem of the chair...

She had to sit back because those things beside her head are speakers. She's reading as well as listening to the "Princess and the Pea". (if you look closely, you can see the speakers) http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...hmentid=184414

I'm sure someone has already talked about that in this thread... or perhaps not?
That sounds like a reasonable explanation, thanks Jasl

From what we can see, Mary seems to be having a great pregnancy. SHe looks radiant, glowing and happy. Long live Mary of Denmark :) I like the way she carries herself, so sophisticated and elegant, at the same time as being down to earth .

The design of the chair is not comfortable for sitting- too deep in, good for the back with the support behind but bad for the neck. I think I will get a stiff neck sitting one of those chairs.

Crown Princess Mary looks great! Radiant and healthy! And I think it's very admirable of her to be the hardest working person in the Danish Royal Family at the moment, despite being so far gone in her pregnancy! It's great to see that she's enjoying her pregnancy and not having many (as least not notable) of those little problems that can make it harder to work. Smashing Mary!

The godparent race is on

August 24, 2005

LOOKING more like a Vogue model than a woman two months shy of giving birth, Princess Mary stepped out to wow adoring locals in Copenhagen this week.

One of the members of the Greek Royal Family?

Also wasn't Fred Haakon best man? Maybe Haakon or Mette-Marit will be godparents. Any Dutch royalty?
