A number of them are from the special forces including some of Frederik old colleagues from the Frogman Corps. But most come from the Royal Lifeguard Regiment..

So he possibly met men who once guarded Amalienborg and his own home?

I'm deligthed to hear this too. It means A LOT for the Danish troops when Frederik (or Mary or Jaochim) visits them. I know from my circle of friends.
A great gallery with 10 pictures from Kongehuset:

Mary has become Danish, but Frederik has undoubtedly also become a bit Australian

this is fantastic! Im glad that he has visited once again. Its been too long and often people forget that we still have soldiers in Iraq/Afghanistan. Im glad that the DRF visits their troops abroad. I remember that even the Queen did and she mentioned that it was Frederik who encouraged her to do the visit.
article from BB with gallery

and from reading the article you can tell it was a very packed agenda.
and again, taking the time to visit Australian troops. What a great connection
these type of visits and events with Danish soldiers are truly special for him. You can tell he enjoys the time with them and highlighting their work.

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #17, 2016.
Written by the omnipresent Ulrik Ulriksen.
A few days ago Frederik slipped under the radar to take part in a skiing race in the Swiss Alps. The Patrouilles des Glaciers race, that is organized by the Swiss army.
In teams of three the route of 53 Km is pretty hard going up and down the mountains.
Frederik's teammates were Asmus Nørreslet and Tue Mantoni. They are not familiar to me though. Anyway, the team completed in 16 hours three minutes.
Pippa Middleton was there as well.
And in the meantime in Greenland, a plaque has been placed on top of one the hills Frederik and the other participants passed during the Arctic Race recently. The highest hill in the area is now known as Crown Prince Frederik's Spot.

Oh, ok.
I didn't watch the wedding so I couldn't say anything about a generous behind. Or why BB writes about her.

 oh Muhler
from reading the article on the Rock museum opening. I did not know that Frederik and Mary's foundation had donated .
"Crown Prince acknowledged that the invitation to the inauguration "did not come like a bolt from the blue ', as he has followed the project from the sidelines, as Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's Foundation is among the contributors.
- So it's great to see the museum be completed. It is a museum for future generations, including my own children, entering to see, so they can experience how the rock inspires us, he said, before he pressed the button."

Thanks Roskilde and Polyesco.
Ragnarock is a wordplay on Ragnarok from the Nordic mythology.
The current world will end, beginning with chaos and disasters, continuing in a long and extremely hard winter lasting years and culminating in a huge battle between the gods, supported by dead heroes from Valhalla against giants and monsters. It will all end in a huge fire and the world will sink into the ocean.
But it's not the end. When things have settled humans will start all over again, overseen by the surviving gods.
And Hell in the Nordic mythology wasn't fiery and hot. Hel (with one L) was cold, damp and dark.

Future event for Frederik in September
Kronprins Frederik åbner ny motorvej | BILLED-BLADET
"Crown Prince Frederik cut the ribbon at Silkeborg, when the new highway will be inaugurated."
"- We are very proud and honored crown prince's commitment to open Silkeborg motorway. We have built a great highway that will be of great benefit to Silkeborg and mobility across Jutland and for the country, says Jens Holmboe from the Danish Road Directorate in a statement."
