"HRH The Crown Prince is today conducting the award of The Brain Prize 2017 in Copenhagen on 4 May 2017.
The Brain Prize is awarded by the Lundbeck Foundation and was first awarded in 2011. The prize follows 1 million euros. The Brain Prize is a personal award awarded to one or more researchers who have been well-known in European brain research.
The Crown Prince will host the award ceremony of The Brain Prize 2017, which takes place in the Black Diamond. This year, the award is awarded to researchers Peter Dayan, Ray Dolan and Wolfram Schultz, who, among other things, receive the award for increased understanding of dopamine brain cells."

That's good. Frederik is brilliant at interacting with children.
I think M&F will fly to Norway after this event, which will probably last all forenoon.
I can imagine that J&M may be aboard Dannebrog on the way to Norway. Or perhaps they will fly in from a visit to France?

J&M will attend the celebration tomorrow, may 10. I have little faith that they can be on the boat on the way to Norway. Most likely they are somewhere else. Likely to France :)

And Yes, I agree Frederic interacts wonderfully with children. But I think he may find communicating with different people. Very good quality I think

It looks like Frederik really enjoyed being there.
If it wasn't genuine, people would soon see right through the facade.

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #19, 2017.
Written by our outdoor reporter Majken Munk.
Recently Frederik went to a forest on the island of Funen with Save the Children and a number of children from families with social issues. (*)
As patron for Save the Children Frederik went with a number of children and volunteers who went for a experience outing.
The theme for this outing was birds and they began by constructing a goose-nest on the forest floor. On top of that they tied a rope to the trees so that the children could swing on the rope while being lowered into the nest.
After all the work, which was interrupted by a little contest, it was time to have something to eat. Here in the form of chickens roasted over a fire. Frederik carved out the chickens and served them to the children, while he explained what the various parts are. That including breaking the wish-bone - something new for many of the children it seems.
The contest was to see who could collect the most pine cones, but they had to pick them up with their mouths and carry them in the mouth, just like birds would do.
Inside the nest Frederik sat with the wing of a goose and explained about feathers and flight. Here one of the children tickled Frederik in the face with a feather.
Altogether children from fifteen families took part, with the parents in this case staying mostly in the background. At the end of the outing it was time to say goodbye and each child was presented with a red balloon which helped blow up.
As is so often the case there is always one child you bond with in particular. In Frederik's case it was six year old Cecillie Lauritsen - who very much looks like Josephine.
The children addressed him as Frederik, which suited him fine.
Afterwards he said: "It's a god experience for me personally, partly from just being out in the nature, I'm generally very fond of that, but also to have a good experience with children who show spontaneity and a great joy by being in the nature.
They (the families) are brought out here by volunteers who are the backbone in these experience-clubs, of which there are a lot of all over Denmark".
(*) Need a little help from English speakers. What's the English term for families that have various social issues in the form of poverty, parents who have difficulty handling their children, let alone their own lives, families with a history of addiction and so on?
In Danish the translation would read: Socially exposed families or families with social issues.

'socially vulnerable families' or 'families with social challenges' would probably do. mange tak for the translation!
