Dinner Oct. 6 and Speaker Oct 7.

"We are very proud to announce that the Crown Prince participates in the Danish Maritime Forum. It helps to underline his great interest in the maritime industry and the positive difference it can make to the world," says Michael Søsted, Executive Secretary of the Danish Maritime Days."
Shipping » The Crown Prince at Danish Maritime Forum

The Crown Prince is very familiar with the sea. He is a former member of the ‘Frogman Corps’ – the Royal Danish Navy’s special operations forces, a skilled sailor and Rear Admiral in the Royal Danish Navy. At last years opening of the Danish Maritime Forum the Crown Prince stated that, “the maritime industry plays an essential role both for the global economy at large and for the wellbeing of people around the globe.”:flowers:

Thanks Roskilde & Polyesco :flowers:

I'm very pleased to see that this is covered. I hoped it would, but didn't expect it.

The pic of Amalienborg, with the windows lit in M&F private apartment was taken at 18.55.

The lights are one in Mary's office too.

There is no flag flying over the palace?

There is no flag flying over the palace?

At 18.55 and at dusk? No.

The rules regarding Dannebrog, and Frederik's royal flag is a normal flag just with his crest, require the flag to be lowered at no later than 18.00 or sunset, whatever comes first. - Or you will be flying the flag for the Devil and that would not be acceptable within the court. ;)

:previous: love these extra facts Muhler. thank you.

Today there was also a State Council at Christiansborg Palace. But unlike others, we don't get pictures ;).

Tomorrow, Frederik has an event at the Asia House, where he had an earlier event last month I believe
"HRH Crown Prince participates as an honorary member of the Danish Mongolian Society's 25th anniversary reception. Asia House, Indiakaj 16, Copenhagen, at. 15.00.

Danish Mongolian Society marks its 25th anniversary with a reception in the historical setting of Asia House, EAC's first headquarters. We have the great honor and pleasure to welcome its first honorary member HRH Crown Prince Frederik welcome reception."

THE MONARCHIST INITIATIVE: European princes in Mongolia

from the Asia house website
"Crown Prince Frederik has a great interest in the steppe country of Mongolia, which he has visited three times: in 1986, 1990 and most recently in 2008. The crown prince is based on his interest in Mongolia appointed honorary member of the association Danish Mongolian Society, which Thursday, October 8 2015 celebrates its 25th anniversary in a big reception at Asia House in Copenhagen."

Yesterday, Frederik attend and spoke at the Danish Maritime Forum, Copenhagen:

Pictre and article from BB:
Kronprins Frederik talte om sine kvikke børn | billedbladet.dk

Frederikheld a personal speech where he involved his four children and told that, like other children in the younger generation, they have grown up with software around them and are good at using modern technology.

Today, as right now, Crown Prince Frederik participates as an honorary member of the Danish Mongolian Society in the Society's 25th anniversary reception, Copenhagen:

Here is the very first glimpse of Frederik:

It has been some busy weeks for the Crown Prince Couple, but if you look in the royal calendar (updated today) it seems to F&M's events today are the last ones before they will hold a week autumn holiday with the children. Danish schoolchildren's autumn holiday starts tomorrow and lasts for a week (10.-18. October)

You are right, Polyesco.
I do wish Frederik would be more daring like his younger brother Joachim, who is a perfect gentleman.
Joachim, always being well dressed, is not afraid of using refreshing colors and as you know I have always said that light red pants suits him well. :)

:previous: Frederik already has an excellent fashion sense, very modern and stylish for his many variety of events ..I don't think he needs or should follow any advice from Joachim ;)

Let's leave the pink pants and red velvet and camouflage dinner jackets to Joachim . Lol

Hope we get more photos this look like a special event for the community

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #42, 2015.
Written by Ulrik Khan, sorry, Ulrik Ulriksen.

Frederik spend quite some time in Mongolia when he was very young and as such got to know the country and the people - and they got to know him. So he is quite well known and fairly popular in Mongolia, - that doesn't get that many royal state visit anyway...

Frederik visited the Danish-Mongolian Society, that celebrated it's 25th anniversary. That took place in Asian House in Copenhagen, and present was the Mongolian ambassador Zorig Altai and 150 guests, many of them Mongolians who had dressed up in very colorful and pretty cool IMO national costumes.

It was Søren Haslund Christensen, whom Frederik went to Mongolia with the first time back in 1986. His son, Michael Haslund Christensen, is now honorary consul for Mongolia in Denmark.

Frederik has a burning interest for Mongolia and visited the country a second time in 1990 and in 2008 he became an honorary member of Danish Mongolian Society.

The whole thing ended a little chaotic though, because everyone and everybody of Mongolian origin wanted to have a selfie with Frederik. And being a patient man, he obliged as you can tell here: https://app.box.com/s/f0r6y3lvizo490oowq4oa6x8w5tdj8r6

And a third time in 2008 but I don't think he has been a hononary member since 1908 ;)

Tomorrow, Frederik has two events
HRH The Crown Prince participates in commemoration of Vice-Admiral Tordenskjolds 325 birthday. Holmen's Church, Copenhagen, at. 14.00.

HRH The Crown Prince is in charge of the presentation of 2015 Tordenskiold Prize Frogman Corps. The Naval Academy, Hans Sneedorffs Allé 3, Holmen, Copenhagen, at. 16.00.

H.K.H. Kronprinsen deltager i højtideligholdelse af Tordenskiolds 325-års fødselsdag kl. 14.00 - Kongehuset
H.K.H. Kronprinsen forestår overrækkelsen af Tordenskiold-Prisen 2015 kl. 16.00 - Kongehuset

I'm sure it will be close to his heart since its the Danish Frogman Corps.
And here is hoping that he will be in his naval uniform ;);)

about the event and prize
Tordenskioldprisen

"commemoration and celebration of Vice Admiral TORDENSKIOLD 325 birthday and the Company's 50th anniversary Wednesday, October 28 d.å. pm. 14:00 in the Church of Holmen and at the Naval Academy with the participation of HRH Crown Prince Frederik.
After a relocation to the Naval Academy, Holmen, which will form the framework for the Company's anniversary reception. Here, HRH Crown Prince Frederik in charge of the presentation of Tordenskiold Prize 2015.
The award is a tribute to military personnel in the Navy, which is imbued with a spirit and mindset that comes close to the Tordenskioldske - earning far beyond duty bids. "
:flowers:

Thank you, Polyesco. :flowers:

Tordenskjold was actually from Norway, but he is considered one of the greatest Danish naval heroes and he distinguished himself during one of the countless Danish-Swedish wars; The Great Nordic War.
Ironically, having survived I don't know how many battles, raids and skirmishes, he will was killed at a fairly young age in a duel.

He looked every bit the dashing hero he by all accounts was: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5d/Viseadmiral_Peter_Wessel_Tordenskjold_%281690_-_1720%29_%283610418617%29.jpg
