Well, learned something new today, so it's a good day.

Wonder if these wings are new? I.e. introduced (for the navy uniform) in connection with the new special forces command. Because I have been looking at all the usual places and I have never seen such wings before.

So its the Danish Navy Frogman Corps wings for his time in the Frogman corps. and this is the first time he was worn them.

This Saturday, Frederik and Mary have an official event: attending the special performance and dinner on the occasion of Hempel's 100-year anniversary.

But before he wears a nice tux or suit, Frederik will be in a swimming race in Sweden

I could also imagine Mary do something similar soon. She is a former competitive swimmer and in 2012 she swam the regatta "Christiansborg Round" in Copenhagen of 2.5 kilometer in open water.

What do we know about the Liddingö run?

Next week Frederik will leave for an IOC meeting in Malaysia.
While there he will, just as importantly, promote Danish dairy products from Arla Foods.
Frederik will be away for four days.

Back on the job after some wonderful weeks with the family at Grasten.

After 3 weeks of summer vacation with Mary and the children it is again back to work for Crown Prince Frederik who today has travled on a 4 days combined business trip/IOC meetings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:

Today, Frederik opened Danish Arla Foods new office which will be Arla's new regional office for the entire of Asia. CP Frederik will also present the Danish Export Association Diploma and HRH Prince Henrik's Medal of Honour for Carlsberg Malaysia.

Frederik will be home again the 3rd August.

On the frederiketmary blog, and also on the Crown Princess Mary Unofficial Message Board, there are pictures of Frederik at the IOC meeting. In one of the pics, it sort of looks like Frederik is wearing reading glasses. Hard to tell, though. If so, welcome to the club, Frederik!
