If that was intended for me I don't have a crown princess I was simply saying an opinion. Which is how I thought the forum worked. We don't all have to agree . And as a matter of fact I don't have a favorite princess unlike some I like them all.

I don't think anyone has said that you can't say something negative about Mary. As long as you're not breaking forum rules, no one can tell you NOT to say something. Speaking only for myself, if I say something negative about a royal here, I try and base it on facts....like what they're wearing, something they've said, something they did....instead of implying something I have no way of proving. I mean, she's 6 months pregnant, she's probably tired, she's been working....there's a ton of reasons why she might have not looked all bubbly and bouncy in Norway. It doesn't ALWAYS have to be about her not being comfortable around other royals or her being stiff and fake.

But really, why is there a need to be negative at all (about any Crown Princess)? Be constructive in your criticisms and express your opinion by all means, but to be knowingly and intentionally negative, is pretty pathetic.

Once again, speaking only for myself, I see a difference in saying something like "that dress didn't look good on her" and "I hate her, she's doing a horrible job". I think one is fine, as you're critiquing fashion and the other is a personal attack, which I agree.....is pretty <Removed word/Mandy> pathetic.

Currently, BT - Denmark has conducted a reader's poll to determine Denmark's superwomen and supermen.
Both Frederik & Mary led the poll as the number 1 and both received the same percentage of votes (22%) on below links :

so what does the poll indicate? Is it in reference to their royal duty/work or their public image?

For those of us who wanted more pix of the royal couple together and some signs of affection, we have been amply rewarded by the pictures from CP Mary and CPFrederik with the new little princess. Love shined from both of them; Frederick looked tenderly at Mary and it is truly one happy family.

I just loved the last christening - evrything was perfect, from the church, to the flower decorations, to the baby and the mother's outfit. I hope this christening will be as great !
I mean, look at this beautiful church:

How come on the official calendar on Kronsprinsparret's website for the month of May...their wedding anniversary and Frederik's birthday aren't automatically there? I know they will probably appear during the month, maybe after the Swedish visit is over (9-11 May)...but I just "assumed" because these dates are known they would be recorded???
Anyway, who am I to judge how they maintain their online calender

I'm sure the kids get spoken to in English, Danish and French.

How wonderful to grow up in a multi lingual family. I would definitely encourage my children to speak every language they could if it was available to them on a day to day basis.

We speak 2 languages at home. My daughter is fluent in English because it's our mother tongue the other one (Afrikaans - South African) she understands very well but won't often speak it. I expect that the same will apply to Christian and Lillepigen, they will be fluent in Danish and English but stilted in French.

I totaly agree with you. Friends of ours have children who know swedish (Mom) and Einglish (Dad). And will/should be fluent in both.

Why stilted in French? Depends on how much contact they have with their grandfather and if Frederick speaks French and Danish with them.
