Princess Laurentein looked great with her gown. The color looked splendid on her. The hair was fine so with the jewels and her shoes.
CP Mary was elegant as usual. I just don't like the idea sometimes of persons wearing gowns that really wraps them up. It's nice to see CP Mary wearing less jewelries. She looks great as usual. Love her purse!!

Both women look incredibly radiant and lovely. I like the deep purple dress from CP Mary the color fits her perfectly and the wrap accentuates her figure very well. The best part of the dress in my opinion is the neckline, I like how the rich satin is draped over her shoulders and neck. Her hair and makeup was flawless. I like how she accentuated the dress with very little jewelry as the dress has alot of elements to do and her purse is very lovely.
I agree with Larzen that Princess Laurentien has never looked better since Haakon and MM's wedding. She has "redeemed" herself from that horrible dress she wore the last time she officially visited Denmark. She's lost some weight and I guess she'll never get over the dark eyebrow pencil, but nevertheless she looks great. The dress is very lovely and the jewelry is AMAZING!! When one wear a relatively "simple" dress like Laurentien it is ok to wear a fair amount of jewelry, and the Crown Princess shows the opposite effect as well.
Brava to both ladies, and of course Prince Constantijn wasn't too bad himself
I like the photo of the two women admiring the Crown Princess's gerbera.:)
Crown Princess Mary awarded the annual MIA-prize (Mangfoldighed I Arbejdslivet, Diversity in Professional Life) in the glass-pyramid at the House of the Danish Industries in Copenhagen.3-31-05
Thanks lots pdas1201.They are really great photos.
His Holiness Pope John Paul II is dead now.In his Pope reign, there are many Royals had met him such as Queen Elizabeth II,The Prince and Princess of Wales,King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain,King Harald and Queen Sonja,...and many more Royals. But since Mary became the Crown Princess, she and Frederik have not had any visit to the Pope.I would love to see Princess Mary meets the Pope. But the Pope is dead now,so i think it's a pity that Princess Mary has not met the Pope-one of the most greatest people in this century.

March 6, 2005: Princess Mary along with Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik took part in her first torch procession by the citizens of Fredensborg. The citizens greet the monarch with the torchlight procession when the couple moves into the Fredensborg Castle.
They will not be attending the Queen's birthday celebrations on Saturday as they will be in Thailand. They leave Thailand on Sunday to go to Japan for EXPO.
The red dress, isn't that the exact same dress Letizia wore to the danish wedding last May?
haha. they do look very similar, maybe laurentien borrowed it from letizia and they're like the magical pants in ann brashears's novel the travelling pants of the sisterhood. Where its an item of clothing that will fit every single girl...no matter what their body type.

The outfit is a poor choice for CP Mary. It is just too shiny. It's bad enough that the jacket is shiny, but the added pants makes it even worse. It's nice to see CP Frederik looking so refreshed, I thought he would look tired and exhausted after spending a week in Greenland:p
