Those are good skills to learn. The schools in the US are turning their emphasis to science, math, and tests (which are certainly important) and neglecting life skills. Public speaking is useful in many occupations.
I'm a happy American, but I get frustrated with our school systems. They claim to want to ''catch up'' to foreign schools, but don't look to those schools for guidance and advice. Parents need to step in to fill in the gaps that used to be taught in school, but sadly, many won't. One of my sons is a teacher, so I hear a lot from him!

Yesterday we could read about a new interview Frederik has give to the Team Danmark magazine 'Pulse' by Politiken (one of our serious newspapers) released yesterday.
He talks in his role as IOC member and he tells about a number of Danish athletes among them Kevin Magnussen who Frederik (and many Danes) is very proud of. And he doesn't hide that it's a passion that has been passed down to prince Christian.
In an episode during the Olympics in London 2012 Christian was fortunate to get close to our handball player Mikkel Hansen.
- "He (Christian) is aware of the athletes and he is filled with excitement when he's in room with them. At the Olympics in London he sat next to Mikkel Hansen in the dining tent in the Olympic village. It was fantastic for me to see a seven-year old boy who was just totally impressed: Woow Dad, it's really Mikkel Hansen who sits there and here I am, a little boy and eating next to him."

As we already have seen plenty of times all four of F&M's children show great interest in sport and to be physically active. Not surprisingly, with those parents.

What beautiful photos. There something about the 4 children that makes it clear they are all brothers and sisters. Funny thing is I can't tell if its from Fred or Mary !!

Thank you so much! I love looking at photos of these two, they have such unique personalities and are such a blend of Mary and Fred that is so beautiful. With Bella and Christian is is so obviously Fred & Mary, but the twins are just..... the twins 😍 thanks again!!

Vincent and Josephine are such cuties and they're so obviously very happy children. I can't believe they're 4 already. I swear it seems like they were just born a year ago.

Lovely pictures of the twins. The photographer did a really good job IMO. The twins are growing fast, I can't believe they are 4 years old already, time flies.
I am surprised they choose pictures that are 6 months old, kids grown up very fast and would've expected some recently pictures nevertheless these are better than nothing.
