An engagement in the family!
The engagement was announced 27 July, 2020, between Prince Frederick Nicholas Stormont [Fritzi] von Preussen [born London 11 June, 1990], son of Prince Frederick Nicholas von Preussen [born London, 3 May, 1946], by his wife Victoria, Princess von Preussen [nee the Hon Victoria Lucinda Mancroft, born 7 March, 1952], & Mathilda Noel Johnson [born 1989], elder daughter of Mr Rupert C.F. Johnson, by his wife the former Simonetta D.F. Barber.
Prince Frederick is a great-great grandson of Wilhelm II, Emperor of Germany [1859-1941], and a great-great-great-great grandson of HM Queen Victoria [1819-1901]. Frederick is a grandson maternally of the 2nd Baron Mancroft [1914-87].

If she in fact were pregnant, a baby should have been born already.

not officially as far as I know. this part of the prussian family is very reluctant, though Alexander's parents are often spotted on "red" carpet events, like local parties&events at Munich and south germany.

I wonder whether they met in Maastricht as both of them studied there around the same time: Jenny graduating (Bachelor) in 2008 and Alexander in 2009 (Master).

Von Rumohr is a family belonging to the Uradel based in Holstein (the German-Danish area) with a branch in Norway. Jenny is a daughter of Joachim and Amélie von Rumohr née Freiin von Holzing-Berstett. With two noble parents making this alliance Standesgemäß.

Standesgemäß = belonging to the same group, for an example blue blood with blue blood, gentry with gentry, haute bourgeoisie with haute bougeoisie, old money with old money
Ebenbürtig = more strict, like Uradel with Uradel, meaning that for an example an alliance of partners from high nobility with low nobility was seen as a mésalliance, often leading to a morganatic marriage.
The marriage is Standesgemäß for many House Laws but would probably not have been acceptable for the Kaiser in old times as it is not Ebenbürtig.

AFAIK "standesgemäß" and "ebenbürtig" mean the same. Though there might be internal meanings within certain circles of the former nobility, but IMHO it is clear that being of "comparable birth" = ebenbürtig means "standesgemäß" (as it is common within one's rank).

Wouldn't an example of the difference between the two terms be that while the rumoured marriage between the future Karl I of Austria-Hungary and a Hohenlohe princess would have been ebenbürtig her ancestry was considered to insignificant by Emperor Franz Joseph for a future empress and therefore the match would not be standesgemäßig?
