On December 24 and 25, Prince Dom Antonio and Princess Dona Christine of Orleans and Bragança had the joy of celebrating the Christmas of Our Lord Jesus Christ with their two youngest children, Prince Dom Rafael and Princess Dona Maria Gabriela of Orleans and Bragança, in the Castle of Beloeil, ancestral property of the Princely House of Ligne.

Although I am happy that they have had a nice christmas I am surprised that they were able to travel to Europe.
We were and are only allowed to receive 1 person per household so I am assuming that the prince and the princess de Ligne did not reside at Belouil.
The castle has sadly been closed for visitors since the lockdown started in March last year, even though most museums were able to re-open.

Prince Antonio de Orleans and Bragança, third in line to the Throne and crown of Brazil, in an interview granted to the Bulletin, "Heirs of Porvir".
Quote:
"We had a first major victory when we rejected, through impeachment in 2016 and the 2018 elections, a socialist power project, whose intention was to transform Brazil into a great Venezuela. Now we have a government that defends Christian values, the family and natural law; it is a government more aligned with the legitimate longings of the Brazilian people, which is naturally orderly and of immense goodness. However, the form of republican government alone does not allow long-term projects to be carried out; therefore it is essential to restore the Monarchy."

Ah, it seems the prince is a fan of Bolsonaro - a president who warned people that taking a COVID vaccination may turn them into an aligator. To add to his argument he is making a grotesque comparison between Lula da Silva & Dilma Roussef and the regime In Venezuela.
It is not surprising that somebody who comes from a conservative background is against social democracy. But the antipathy seems to be blinding the prince for the rather obvious shortcomings of the madman who is now in control of the country.

Especially the 'legitimate' in this portion; are the longings of the other Brazilians not legitimate?

Brazilian guys,
In this month of May, a month dedicated to Our Lady, and on the eve of celebrating Mother's Day, my thoughts and prayers have turned in a very special way to wives, mothers and grandmothers.
The pandemic has affected so many families, but I have faith that better days will come.
My family and I have prayed especially for the medical teams, who have our greatest admiration. A tireless work, with absolute dedication and total selflessness of themselves in the name of love for others.
Therefore, I ask you all to keep the flame of hope burning.
May Our Lady bless and protect all the families of our beloved Brazil.
Dona Christine of Orleans and Bragança
Princess of Brazil

Hope that helps convince others to take it as well.
The virus isn't that new anymore... Has dominated most of our lives for 15 months now.
