It´s really great to see these little cousins having so much fun together. The way Froilan and Victoria are enjoying the company of little Irene and Miguel is heartwarming. I was lucky to have cousins to play with when I was a child. It´s a bond that very seldom breaks with the passing of time.

could well be
How much the enthusiasm of the early years has gone when Letizia couldnt wait to show up at Nautical club with her supposed best friend, the Queen, and show the united family front. In the meantime, the glamour has worn off completely.

The rest of the family also follow their own schedule, this year they show up early (Cristina is sailing this time), the last few years they didn't go to Malloca until after the race, it's their own decision.
Isn't Letizia grandpa's birthday at the end of July ? Maybe Rocasolanos had a family gathering over the weekend as previous years.

More like it's hard to believe the family of the infantas had come so early this year (their own decision and freedom though) . The royal yacht club is usually very crowded and messy on the first day of race. Letizia and girls usually didn't make an appearance until Tue or Wed, I doubt it will change this year.

Queen Sofia looks great surrounded by her grandchildren, she must love spending time with them especially as most of them are in Washington most of the year.
Has Christina sailed before? Is she on t he same team as Felipe?
I miss seeing Letizia and the girls, I'm sure they will make an appearance soon.

Infanta Cristina sailed for many years in the ship Azur de Puig with his cousin Alexia. She left the competition in 2004, and in 2007 she sailed one day. She does not navigate in the same ship that the prince.
Like DonnaK wrote, the princess and the girls usually go the second or third day.

I am delighted to see those photos. The Queen, the Infantas, Iñaki, Felipe and the children all enjoying the summer days.
It´s lovely to see Cristina back sailing along her brother.
