Thanks for all the wonderful pictures. Actually I think she might have started making her first steps. THe other day it was clear she was standing, and I think she's definitely made her first steps in the gardens of Marivent, with her pround parents and grandparents watching her :) Esa nina es una monada

If I were Leonor I would refuse to use dresses before going to sail , besides dad even mum and granny tend to show her tiny intimacies ...
In future don't be surprised to see someone mentioning in some pink yellowish magazine "I've seen the Princess' belly" http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...2&d=1154356398
I must admit Letizia is a very corageous woman... I don't know if I was so thin and press were always speculating about food-deseases I'd have would dare to wear shorts... 20 points for you, Crown Princess!!!
Regards and welcome back lula and Juanita :),

The Queen, the Princess of Asturias and her daughter, the Infanta Leonor, sailed today in the yacht "Fortune", from where they contemplated the first ditch of the Cup of the King of Vela, in which don Juan Carlos and don Felipe compete.

At eleven o'clock exactly of a morning of stifling heat, they were coming to the Royal Club Naútico of Palm, united in the same car, which the Prince of Asturias was leading.
Before embarking, they greeted the president of the Naútico, Matías Salvá, the brothers Enrique and Mariano Puig, and to the president of the company Camper, Lorenzo Fluxá, sponsors of the Cup of Vela.
Immediately, the King and the Prince of Asturias went to the pantalanes in those who were tied the 'Bribón', who competes in the class Transpac 52, and the 'CAM' inscribed in the group of the IMS Open, to take part in the preparations for the navigation.
In the same category of the 'Bribón',competes again this year the ' FRAM the XVIth ', in the one that sails as boss the King Harald of Norway, assiduous to this Mediterranean ditch. The present edition of the Cup of the King of Vela, that of the anniversary XXV, is one of the most international of last years, with crafts of fifteen countries and an out-standing participation of Italian, Frenchmen, Britishers and Americans.
Small when before the midday the 'Bribón' and the 'CAM' they came to the field of ditches, in full bay of Palm, already they there was waiting for the Royal yacht 'Fortuna' ", with dona Sofía, dona Letizia and the small Leonor, which today expires nine months, on board.
From the cover of the ship, the Queen, his daughter-in-law and her granddaughter, with a white gorrito that was protecting her head of the Sun, they saw the exit of the ditch.
When little before the 'CAM', with the Prince of Asturias on board, was passing close to the 'Fortuna'', the Princess took her daughter in arms in order that she was greeting her father.
Don Felipe will not be able to sail every day that lasts the Glass, since the weekend has to travel to Latin America to be present again in Bogota at the capture of possession of the reelected president of Colombia, Alvaro Uribe.
Also in representation of the King, the Prince of Asturias was last week in Lima, in the capture of possession of the new president of the Andean country, Alan García.
Last night, the Kings, the Princes of Asturias and the Infanta Pilar had dinner together in a restaurant of Port Portals, to celebrate that the major sister of don Juan Carlos was expiring yesterday 70 years.
This evening, on having finished the first one of the ditches, with a tour of 10,5 miles, the Kings will come to the Nautical Club of Palm, organizer of the Cup, to inaugurate a photographic exhibition.
Across a hundred of instantaneous, the exhibition narrates in images the history of this important nautical appointment of the Majorcan summer, in which the Royal Family has had a protagonism emphasized in its twenty-five years of life.

Do we have a picture of the Fortuna? It seems like a big boat...kind of dangerous to have the baby so close to the edge. She is soooo cute!!!!!

The Queen, Doña Letizia and Infanta Leonor did not want to lose the first day of regata of 25º edition of the Copa del Rey de Vela, that followed with attention from the yacht "Fortuna". Infanta Leonor, dressed for this occasion in suit sailor, red and black to rays, did not want to lose nor a one detail of the competition. But it is not the first time that the small one, fan number one of her father and grandfather, attends like a spectator, since to her age, enough furrowing to the seas next to her grandmother and her mother in the Regata Breitling. Doña Sofía most of her time passes in the island enjoying the company of her daughter-in-law and her granddaughter with whom she goes like “a girl”.
Unlike the last summer, where we missed the presence of the Princes of Asturias in Palma de Mallorca, this year they have appeared in multiple occasions accompanied by their daughter Leonor, to whom, according to her mummy's commentaries: “Palm is seating very well”. From her arrival to the island the smallest one of the Royal Family has sailed with her grandmother and mother, visited the “Aifos”, of the boats where Don Felipe sails, and has taken a walk next to her parents by the streets of the city.
The regata of the Copa del Rey de Vela turns 25 years
From this Monday to the next Sunday 120 boats will participate in XXV edition of Copa del Rey de Vela that takes place every year in the Bay of Palm. During these 25 years of competition the best boats of the world have met in these waters.
In this first day of regata Don Felipe he raised on board of the “CAM”, although he had made a long trip from Peru, where attended the taking of possession of the new president, Alan Garci'a. This year the Prince will sail every day, unlike the previous edition where he was the great absentee. The King, on the other hand, competes on board "Bribon", like every year, and is one of the great favorites.
Infant Cristina, who is also very found of the sport of the candle, has still not registered to the competition. The sailboat who habitually has patroneado, the “Azur de Puig”, will not participate this year in the regata, but this does not discard that she can leave to sail in another boat like a guest.

He doesn't seem to be involved with any of his grandchildren. Not all people appreciate the company of children.
