The King Don Juan Carlos has met bound to give march behind with the Bribón when they were going out of the Royal Nautical Club to initiate the Cup XXV of the King of Vela Brava-Camper Waters down after noticing a pull in the craft. The little Leonor, which was dressing a pink garment together with a white gorrito that was protecting her from the Sun, has played for the top cover of the ship and has done the delights of her mother and grandmother who have not removed eye. Dona Letizia with a white vest and a visor to game has not stopped speaking to her daughter, giving palms and laughing with her. The Infanta has taken to herself great part of the flashes of the present journalists especially when she has put to greet them with the little hand.

The Queen, Doña Letizia and Infanta Leonor did not want to lose the first day of regata of 25º edition of the Copa del Rey de Vela, that followed with attention from the yacht "Fortuna". Infanta Leonor, dressed for this occasion in suit sailor, red and black to rays, did not want to lose nor a one detail of the competition. But it is not the first time that the small one, fan number one of her father and grandfather, attends like a spectator, since to her age, enough furrowing to the seas next to her grandmother and her mother in the Regata Breitling. Doña Sofía most of her time passes in the island enjoying the company of her daughter-in-law and her granddaughter with whom she goes like “a girl”.
Unlike the last summer, where we missed the presence of the Princes of Asturias in Palma de Mallorca, this year they have appeared in multiple occasions accompanied by their daughter Leonor, to whom, according to her mummy's commentaries: “Palm is seating very well”. From her arrival to the island the smallest one of the Royal Family has sailed with her grandmother and mother, visited the “Aifos”, of the boats where Don Felipe sails, and has taken a walk next to her parents by the streets of the city.

The regata of the Copa del Rey de Vela turns 25 years
From this Monday to the next Sunday 120 boats will participate in XXV edition of Copa del Rey de Vela that takes place every year in the Bay of Palm. During these 25 years of competition the best boats of the world have met in these waters.
In this first day of regata Don Felipe he raised on board of the “CAM”, although he had made a long trip from Peru, where attended the taking of possession of the new president, Alan Garci'a. This year the Prince will sail every day, unlike the previous edition where he was the great absentee. The King, on the other hand, competes on board "Bribon", like every year, and is one of the great favorites.
Infant Cristina, who is also very found of the sport of the candle, has still not registered to the competition. The sailboat who habitually has patroneado, the “Azur de Puig”, will not participate this year in the regata, but this does not discard that she can leave to sail in another boat like a guest.

The Kings and the Princes inaugurate the exhibition " Cup of the King - 25 years of images "

Their Majesties the Kings don Juan Carlos and Dona Sofía inaugurated officially this evening in the Royal Nautical Club of Palm the exhibition " Glass of the King - 25 years of images ", dedicated to the weddings silvers of this important ditch and in that there have taken part 24 prestigious local, national and international photographers.

The act, which began at 18.10 hours, relied on the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Princes of Asturias, don Felipe and Dona Letizia, that they crossed together with the monarches the photographic sample composed by 95 images mounted on a floating structure in the covered swimming pool of the Nautical one of Palm.

The Queen surprises all in Santa Eugenia

The Queen Sofia appeared on Sunday for surprise in Santa Eugenia in the mass - honoring to the Majorcan missionary Antonio Quetglas, who has been nominated an illustrious son of this locality by his humanitarian labor in Honduras. After the homily the Queen shared ten minutes with the missionary and with the Archbishop of Tegucigalpa (Honduras), Rodríguez Madariaga, who presided at the honoring.

The Queen, who came to Santa Eugenia accompanied of her sister Irene of Greece, greeted to all the presents in the parochial church of Holy Eugenia. In words of the cardinal Rodríguez, Dona Sofía remembers with sympathetic much her trips to Honduras, since in the Central American country she inaugurated in 1998 several projects of housing for harmed by the Hurricane Mitch.

The Queen Sofia came to Santa Eugenia after the president of the Govern, Jaume Matas, was informing him about the presence of the cardinal in the island, during the delivery of the golden medal to the founder of the group Sol Meliá, Gabriel Escarrer.

I was going to add that we've never seen pictures of Letizia on the beach or taking sunbaths on the deck, so I find quite natural that we don't have pics of her in bathsuit... The only pic I saw of Letizia in a bathsuit it was at an awful site, and we couldn't see her face at all, just the body and the pic was supposedly taken by a neighbour who saw her at the complex swimming pool before the compromise was known... after the announcement he ran to his album and found the picture and published it !

How cute is Leonor! You can tell that Letizia is so in love with her daughter, she can't take her eyes off of her. And the Queen seems to love spending time with her youngest grandchild. This family is a joy to see.

Nine months at the edge of the sea

The passion for the sea of the Royal Family is allowing to see the Infanta Leonor with great more frequency of what has seen her for her first months of life. Yesterday, precisely, the small one was fulfilling nine and she accompanied her grandmother, the Queen, and to her mother, the Princess of Asturias, to contemplating from the cover of the "Fortuna"" the first day of the most important ditch of candle of the Mediterranean, the Cup of the King, who is disputed in the bay of Palm until the next Sunday.

With a "gorrito" white and dressed in a seaworthy dress of red and white stripes, which was allowing to see the "michelines" of her little legs, the girl was posing smilingly in arms of her mother and her grandmother before the photographers' tens that from their small launches were surrounding the "Fortuna"". Foreign to the commotion that her presence provokes, the Infanta was attending entertained to the requests of Dona Sofía and Dona Letizia, who were encouraging her to greet her father, the Prince of Asturias, who passed close to the ship on board of the sailboat "CAM". It was in this precise moment when the Princess took in arms her daughter and raised it in order that she saw Don Felipe. The yesterday image was practically the same one that could be contemplated only ten days ago, during the ditch Breitling - that was the baptism of sea of the Infanta-, but it was completely new in the history of the Cup of the King, which this year celebrates its 25 years.

Throughout all this time, this competition has been a reflex of the changes lived by the Royal Family and that of yesterday was the first occasion in which, while Don Juan Carlos and Don Felipe were haggling, the Queen, the Princess and the Infanta were encouraging them from the "Fortuna"", that is to say, three generations of the Dynasty. To the Prince, the presence of his daughter brought luck, since in the yesterday test his sailboat came the first one from those of its category.

If some impression can be extracted of the Infanta to her nine months of age, it is that she is a nice and curious girl, that does not scare before the strangers' presence and who observes attentivly all that happens around it. Of that detail does not get lost there deals directly her mother, who indicates her any thing that could call the attention of the small one.

Dona Sofía, very protective

While, Dona Sofía, since always, was proving to be protective with her daughter-in-law and, specially, with her granddaughter, which she was holding affectionatly to avoid a fall provoked by the movement of the ship, though the "Fortuna"" is very stable. And it is that, though in the bay of Palm the sea is in the habit of being calmed, when there center hundreds of sailboats, yachts and motorboats in a space as small as it is the line of exit of the ditch, the crafts provoke a great surge with the one that is easy to fall or to feel sick.

Even in full sea the heat was stifling and scarcely it was blowing of wind to stimulate to the sailboats. The exit of the first test was late and the second test was suspended by the fall of the wind. Dona Sofía was protected from the strong Sun by a shirt of stripes and a few long trousers; Dona Letizia chose for a few white shorts, a pole of the same color and a visor in which it was possible to read the word "Relax", precisely what almost all the vacationers search in this island.

Yesterday also there was occasion to see the King and the Prince in firm land, since both came together, in a vehicle led by Don Felipe, to the Royal Nautical Club of Palm, in which pantalanes were stingy the "Bribón" and the "CAM". After greeting the sponsors of the ditch and the persons in charge of the club, father and son embarked in their respective sailboats and were done to the sea.

Already in the evening, the Kings returned to the Nautical one to inaugurate a photographic exhibition on 25 years of the Cup of the King and, later, they returned to Marivent's Palace, where Don Juan Carlos received the prime minister to support the first summer office. On having finished the meeting, the Kings offered a dinner to Zapatero and his wife, who today travel to Lanzarote to initiate his vacations in The Mareta.

The infanta dona Pilar assembles to tablecloths the Kings, the princes of Asturias, the pincess of Greece, her children, grandsons and niece to celebrate her 70 years

The sister of the King, the infanta dona Pilar de Borbón, expired 70 years. It was the day before yesterday, on Sunday. And in the night she celebrated it for everything high, with her family and that of the Kings - who also are a family-, in the Flanigan of Port Portals, which was full up to the flag.

Little before half after nine in the night they all were coming. On one hand, dona Pilar and herchildren, do not be if all, but if the majority, between them Simoneta, with her husband, Jose Miguel Fernandez Sastrón, and her three children. With them there came also Maria Zurita, daughter of the infanta Margarita and doctor Zurita. It on one hand. For other one, the Royal Family, that as I commented on them yesterday, they had spent the day in the sea: the King, in Cabrera, with the crew of the Bribon; the Prince, in the Gomonne - at least less in it departed from Portopí's naval base-, and the Queen, the princess of Asturias and Irene, princess of Greece, in the Somni, with stop in the bay where someone bathed.

It gave to us the impression of which the Kings and their children, the princes of Asturias, acceded to the terrace of the restaurant where they were going to have dinner, and where they were waited by the hostess of the dinner and the family, or across the kitchen of the same one, or for the bar Capricho, provided that the cars were leaving them in the part of behind of the mentioned restaurant. To all that, a police device was controlling the zone of very discreet form.
