Haha Elsa, it seems that Iñaki isn't hearing our requests about his shorts.
Anyway, I love the photos of the whole Royal Family (except the Princes and little Irene) sitting at the table. The kids are so so cute and the Queen looks (once again!) terrific!
Thanks everybody for sharing the pics.

I noticed the King and Infanta Elena wearing rings on their last finger on ther left hand. Can someone tell me if they are the same? and why only the two of them have them and not Cristina nor Felipe.
I can't increase the size of the picture, but maybe someone will

i think you're talking about the wedding and crown (royal) rings they have.

The rings I saw on both hands (king and Elena) were on the last finger. Not on the ring finger where usually the wedding band goes, that is if you wear it on that hand.
Now, you mention a crown ring. What's that? how does it looks like? and if so, why haven't I seen Cristina nor Felipe using it? or the Queen for that matter.
please advise!!!!! anyone!!! I am very curious!

the crown ring is the one that has the arms of the royal family. The king, queen and elena have this ring together with the wedding ring. Cristina and other members are more modern and don't use it.

Is there a picture of these rings? why would they wear their wedding band with it too? Tradition perhaps?
In regards to the PIzza, if they are like me, and not that I am special like them, but I learned to eat pizza with a Spaniard nobleman with fork and knive. To this date I still eat my pizza like that. I remember being ridiculized in school and in college for doing so. But I just can't see my self holding a slice of pizza and eating it.
My kids, half use their hands and the other three use fork and knives!!! not that I taught them, but maybe because that's what they see.
Too bad no pictures were taken while eating. It would have been the picture of the year!! NEver mind seeinn Letizia in a bathing suit, this would have been it!!

MIka is the wedding ring and royal ring together. They don't have anything else in the other hand. Elena has other ring but is normal. here you have a copy of the royal ring, i think.

Thank you for the photos. The Queen is delighted with her grandsons, and also I like much the photo of the King with the small Miguel.

Tha photo of the king holding his hand and walking him out was very cute. i can't wait to see him holding the Prince's daughter when she's born. I hope she will be part of the family as much as Cristina's sons are. Always in constant contact with the grandparents.

For what speeches in feminine? And if he is a boy?
If the baby will be always near the grandparents, the Queen Sofia from November will have her grandson to 5 minutes of house.

This has definitely been the summer of queen sophia. Her clothes look wonderful, she looks completely happy and relaxed. Makes me wonder what's going on. Is she happy because he son is giving her a grandchild? Is she happy because all her children (it seems) are happily married, already with children or with children on the way? etc... I don't know but she has definitely looked great.

Queen Sophia must be very happy and content with her "baby" finally married and a baby on the way. Her daughter-in-law has clearly demonstrated that she has what it will take for her to take over when the day comes.
The Queen can now enjoy the family and be just a grandma.
