The princes of Asturias return to Palma with the rest of the Royal Family

MADRID (EUROPE PRESS)

The princes of Asturias returned on Friday to Palma to conclude their vacations with the rest of the Royal Family, after happening a few days in Sardéu together with Menchu Álvarez del Valle, grandmother of dona Letizia Ortiz.
The couple came to Porto Pi in their car and they embarked in the 'Fortuna'', to which later several workmen raised an aquatic motorcycle, probably in order that don Felipe de Borbón was enjoying the sport in high seas.
Already on Saturday, the Princes took advantage of their return to Palm to sail with Majesties the Kings, don Juan Carlos and dona Sofía and with the infanta Elena and her children. The small Froilán, always very enterteining, ran for the cover of the ship. Besides, dona Pilar de Borbón, who also is in the island of Majorca, came with some of her children, between them Fernando.
Are there any pictures of that?

(EFE) .-The Kings, the Princes of Asturias, the Dukes of Lugo and the Dukes of Palm offered the dinner this night to the authorities of Balearics with the one that traditionally concludes their summer stay in Majorca, in an act that was celebrated in the Palace of The Almudaina, in Palm. At the dinner, which possessed half a hundred of retainers, there were present Don Juan Carlos and Dona Sofía, the Prince Felipe and Dona Letizia, the Infanta Elena and her husband, Jaime de Marichalar, and the Infanta Cristina and her husband, Iñaki Urdangarín.

It seems that the photos of the receipt are going to be very nice. The Princess Letizia is very simple and elegant, she still has the garment very well.

That is a very odd outfit the Queen is wearing (and I usually like her clothes).

This has probably been asked before, but do the Royal Family have a palace/villa on the island where they usually stay? And where is it located?

Thanks.

The Palace is Marivent and is located in Mallorca

Little Star, as I understand it the Palace of Marivent is on loan to the Spanish Royal Family for 99 years. I believe King JC "negotiated" this arrangement near the beginning of his reign -- although someone on this list might be able to give more specific details. Anyway, the "Palace" is actually a complex and on it's grounds contains houses for each of the royal children, with the Princes of Asturias having the second grandest house of the complex for their use.

Thank you for the pictures of the farewell dinner fanletizia! :)

I think that every year Cristina gets better and better looking every time I see her. Last year I thought she looked great, but now with the birth of her daughter and her family complete now, Cristina looks even more radiant and absolutely happy and at peace (not that she looked unhapy before).

Cristina reminds me of Sofia in this respect -- the Queen just gets better and better looking and more graceful and elegant each year. This summer, as someone else has already mentioned, has really been the summer of Sofia. She was obviously at her happiest surrounded by her grandchildren, playing with Cristina's sons on the boat, escorting Irene on her first outing in Palma Mallorca, and surrounded by her children.

Letizia looks so beautiful, nice to for once see her without a jacket. Cristina also looks beautiful. the Queens outfit is a true eyesore though

totally agree. she really needs to work on that...

wow! infanta elena was definetely stunning in her pink outfit! it really looks wonderful: fresh, elegant and suitable for a summer almost autumn event. imo, she is by far the best dressed woman of the royal family. letizia looked also fresh in her pre-mum dress. really lovely and a good idea to choose something with a detail in the neckline, not just a plain dress. the queen seems to choose practically every year the same kind of suits to attend the official events in palma...

i would be really grateful if anyone could tell me who designed elena's, letizia's and cristina's outfits :) thanks in advance...

Wow, I must say all the ladies look great! And Letizia's dress is a perfect choice: very summering and yet elegant and lovely for a mother-to-be. :)

The Royal Family goes out to sail in the 'Fortuna'' with the small Irene Urdangarín
One more day, the Royal Family went out yesterday in the yacht 'Fortune' from Porto Pi ready to enjoy a new day in Majorcan waters.
The Queen dona Sofía was the first one in coming in her car, to the one that followed Iñaki Urdangarín's vehicle, accompanied of the infanta Cristina and of their children. Later, don Jaime de Marichalar and dona Elena de Borbón appeared with the children. Finally, it was possible to see the princes of Asturias in a car led by don Felipe de Borbón.
Since it is habitual, the King don Juan Carlos handled the helm of the 'Fortuna'' to extract it of the port, image that repeated itself to the return of the yacht to Porto Pi. After holding the ship up, the Royal Family returned to take their cars. To her return, dona Letizia Ortiz was leading the black Seat León and the prince of Asturias was going in the seat of the co-pilot. The rest of the couples also exchanged their roles to the steering wheel.
In this occasion, also accompanied the Royal Family the small Irene, daughter of the dukes of Palm. A right-hand person caught her in arms and mounted with her in the part of behind of a vehicle, where several were accompanying them you escort.

Two more from colourpress.
I think Cristinas dress is from Jesus del Pozo, it looks like his style, but I cant find it in his collection, lovely collection though
http://www.madridfashionshows.com/spring2005/jesusdelpozo/photos.htm

I dont know who made Letizias dress but whoever did it should do more for her, its much better tailored than some of the other pregnancy clothes she has worn.

The reception offered by the Royal Family to the political, military and judicial authorities of the Islands concludes the vacations in Mallorca. During eight minutes, twenty authorities of the Balears greeted the monarchs, who were spending the summer in the Island, since the end of July.

Inside the Palace, the Kings, the Princes of Asturias, the Dukes of Lugo and the Dukes of Palma greeted their guests, among them the president of the Balearic Govern, Jaume Matas. During the photo shoot, the reporters did not get tired of catching photos of Letizia and her future baby, while the Princes, who have just spent one week of vacations in the Principality, were chatting with infanta Elena.

The menu was made of a salad tempered with Mallorcan prawns with green vegetables. As second plate there was suprema de lubina con hinojo selvaje. For dessert, there was pie of chocolate with mint cream. The wines served were a Mallorcan white and a red wine from Rioja.

Some more photos from the visit to the dolphins. I'm just putting here the ones that are not repeated. From ImagineScandinavia:
