Oh!! How cute!!! :p And yeah, it seems that Irene is growing up very fast, as her tall brothers. :)

Here an article about that from Terra.;)

The nautical baptism of little Irene

The same day in which she turns two months, Irene, Infanta Cristina’s youngest daughter, received today her nautical baptism on board of the yacht of her grandparents the Kings, the 'Fortuna', from which her mother and doña Sofía watched this morning the fifth regatta of the King's Cup.

While the Queen and her daughter were seeing the regatta from the deck of the Royal yacht, Irene was remaining to the security of the Sun, in the arms of a baby sitter.

The 'Fortuna' came to the area of regattas some minutes before, at 13:00, the exit was given in this fifth day of the King's Cup of Agua Brava, which is disputed in the bay of Palm from Monday until Sunday.

After the exit, the 'Fortuna' went towards the first buoy, in order that the Queen and her daughter, with a prismatic, could see the sailboats, which yesterday, after the regatta in Wednesday, didn't sail.

Today, the King wasn't in the Bribón, eighth in the classification of its class, the Transpac 52, in which other ten ships competed. King Juan Carlos has travelled to Saudi Arabia to greet the new King, Abdala Bin Abdelaziz, and to give his condolences to the Saudi Royal Family for the death, on Monday, of his friend the King Fahd.

Don Juan Carlos will return to Palm tonight, and it is expected that he takes part in the last two days of the Cup: tomorrow and on Sunday.

Before embarking in the 'Fortuna'', the Queen and her daughter were in the Nautical Club of Palm with slept Irene in the middle of the morning.

Dressed in some blue and white clothes, and with a cap that was protecting her little head of the Sun, Irene didn't change countenance when the photographers who were in the Nautical Club turned on their cameras.

Queen Sofía, playing her grandmother's role, took charge of her granddaughter, and she went to drink some coffee in a café while Cristina visited the Azur de Puig's crew, the ship in which she has sailed in previous editions of the Cup.

After talking with the crew, Cristina returned with her daughter and her mother to take the car which would take them up to the naval base of Porto Pi, where the 'Fortuna' was waiting for them to go sailing.

Irene's birth, last June 5, has been the reason of which Cristina hasn't competed this year in the Cup. His brother, the Prince of Asturias, hasn't embarked either, in order to be passing more time with his wife, the Princess Letizia, six months pregnant.

The Princes of Asturias aren't in Palm since last Wednesday evening, but they will return to be with the Kings on Sunday night, when it will take time the delivery of trophies of the King's Cup, which will be celebrated in the Castle of Bellver.

The travel of the Princes took place the following day of talking with a group of journalists in the Nautical Club, who asked them about their holiday’s plans. They answered that they would be a few days more in Palm.

On Tuesday, the Princes of Asturias followed the regatta on board of the 'Somni', and, in the evening, they came to the Nautical Club to attend a concert of the Majorcan singer Jaume Anglada, friend of don Felipe and companion of crew in the 'CAM'

According to an article posted by isabella the princes left Mallorca on Wednesday. So where are they now? In Asturias?

In Asturias they are not, because but the press already would have found out. Besides tomorrow it is the Decrease of the Sella in Ribadesella where the grandmother of Letizia lives, and there will be thousands of persons, so I do not believe that it happens to them to approach there. The journalists say that on Wednesday they went out of Palm, but who knows.
