The General Directorate of Diplomatic Communication and Information publishes the following statement:

The President of the Republic of Peru, Martín Vizcarra Cornejo, will make a State Visit to Spain accompanied by his wife on the 27th and 28th of February, within the framework of what will be his first trip to Europe since he assumed the Head of State.

President Vizcarra and his wife will be received by TTMM The King and Queen, who will offer a Gala Dinner in their honor at the Royal Palace. TTMM and His Excellency President Vizcarra will inaugurate the Contemporary Art Fair of Madrid, ARCO, in whose edition of this year Peru is a special guest country.

On the occasion of Peru's participation in ARCO, the Pedro and Angélica de Osma Foundation of Peru has temporarily ceded a painting to the Prado Museum. Sassa de Osma, accompanied by her husband Christian of Hanover, was at the presentation. Maybe we will see them participate in some event in this visit.

The First Lady of Peru is sick.

As I already explained, the Osma family foundation in Peru has temporarily ceded a painting to the Prado Museum on the occasion of ARCO. Sassa was in the presentation and for that reason she has been invited today. They were not at the gala dinner yesterday, where by space the number of guests is smaller than at today's reception.
