According to Hola, last Saturday (15th of January) Letizia's sister Telma traveled to Asia with the International Red Cross, to collaborate in the reconstruction of the countries knocked down by the tidal wave.

This morning they were at an audience with the King and Queen for Spanish volunteers who have been working in the tsunami disaster areas. Ona more sad note, this afternoon they attend a funereal for 18 people who died by gas leak in a rural country inn--they were all there to celebrate a 50th birthday party.
