I am pretty sure that was BEFORE the attacks when the Kings were still on the island, the went to Barcelona from an unknown location and probably went back to it, but they left Mallorca on August 7 the latest and did not return.

i wonder if F&L resumed their private holiday wherever they were following the attacks. logistically, it would have been complicated but not impossible. however, they were maybe towards the end of their holiday in that place as they left palma a week or more before the attacks took place.

Felipe left Palma on Monday August 7th, Letizia might have gone with the girls even the weekend before. The attack happened on August 17th, so they will have had a good portion of private holidays.
Felipe was there the next day at lunchtime so its safe to say they didnt go to Australia.

In the absence of official confirmation, El País says that 'Don Felipe was on the Côte d'Azur' when the bombings in Barcelona and Cambrils took place.

King Felipe VI will debut a new boat at the 37th Copa del Rey Mapfre in Palma: a Swan50 Club
It has been given by the Finnish Nautor's Swan so that the monarch and the Spanish Armada can compete in several regattas.
El nuevo 'Aifos 500' de Felipe VI en la Copa del Rey
Oy Nautor AB is a Finnish producer of luxury sailing yachts, based in Jakobstad. It is known for its Swan range of yachts. ClubSwan is a non-profit organization whose members are present, past and future Swan yacht owners. The club house is located at the Segelsällskapet Yacht Club in Jakobstad, Finland. Leonardo Ferragamo is the chairman of the club. Among the honorary members is King Juan Carlos.
Aifos 500 is entered as a result of a collaboration between Nautor’s Swan and the Spanish Navy. The ‘500’ in the boat name is significant. Spain has begun to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the first circumnavigation of the Earth by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan and Spanish discoverer Juan Sebastián Elcano. The celebrations will go on until 2022 and as part of them the Spanish Navy will race a ClubSwan 50 during the Copa del Rey, where SM King Felipe will probably sail as skipper.

Thank you to those who shared the photos and videos from the annual photoshoot today.
I liked how natural the shoot seemed to be this year, and it's nice to see the family together again. Sofia seems to be shooting up each time we see her! I think this is my favourite photo of the shoot today and possibly one of my favourites of the girls together overall.

I guess they are just bad at posing. Maybe someone should tell them to look into the camera instead of looking at and touching each other all the time. The girls are teenagers now, no need to treat them like small children.

As usual it looks uncomfortable and stiff, almost like as if the family is counting the seconds to escape this ordeal.
The girls seem to need guidance at all time, when to move, where to stand, holding hands or getting in touch with the parents whenenver possible....
Leonor will be 13 in October, her younger sister looks more mature and natural, possibly the message has already sunk in what especially Leonor is expecting in life.
