It is not official.

It has been mentioned in a news item in the newspaper El Mundo, but it is not an authorized official account.

I based this article on El Mundo.
I was misled.

Misled by an article in a Spanish newspaper, I believed that this Instagram page was official.
I confirmed through a Spanish journalist with whom I exchanged messages, that this Instagram page is fake.
Spanish Royal House does not have an official Instagram account yet.

I apologize for the mistake.

To be honest it looks real so its there's no real shame in believing it to be real as I would have done so too.

At least we have confirmation that it is not official.

El Mundo has confirmed that it is a matter of time for the Spanish Royal House to open an official Instagram account, as it did with Twitter in 2014, which is managed from the communication department, as will happen with the Instagram account.

In fact they are doing an exhaustive study to make it a success.

We hope that in the coming months the Spanish Royal House will be on Instagram! :flowers:

Casareal is finally being dragged into the 21st Century!

Lets hope its not a hoax like the last one.

I prefer no Insta and Twit because the open sewers (the comment sections) add nothing.

It's about time. With the PoA and I.Sofia quickly approaching 18 it makes sense to be on the platforms their generation use the most.

The Spanish Royal House website has been down for the last few hours. I've been trying to access the site and I can't. I don't know how they can't solve these problems with the site.

Congratulations to Don Jaime Alfonsín Alfonso on his retirement after three decades of service to the Crown and all his years as a lawyer and as a professor of Tax Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
