What a beautiful portrait -- first of many that they will have done in their lifetime, I am sure. I personally think that it is the correct outfits and pose befitting the future king and queen of Spain. Thank you lula for providing.

The Princes look good on the portait and thank god that the ugly skirt is partly hidden behind the stole. I think it's from the gala event with the Slovakian President. The background gives a quite dramatic touch - almost like a scene from "Gone with the Wind" with Scarlett & Rhett in front of their Tara home.

The portrait is good but there is something that I don't like.
I think that Felipe looks too young, and there is something strange in the features of the princess.

The portrait is very beautiful. A bit of dramatic effect with the background and Letizia's sash (or train?) is a nice touch.

Felipe looks realistic, the painter however "filled" up Letizia's face and made her look a bit more round than what we are used to seeing. She looks serene and better than some pictures.

I think at that time, Letizia was "rounder" in the face which I liked. I believe they both looked very life-like and he did a wonderful job. I loved the one he did of the queen. She looked just beautiful. Did he do one of the king also?

The painting is beautiful, but IMO Letizia is not so lifelike as the Prince. I loved the Queen´s portrait as well.

Ricardo Sanz seems a good portrait painter. His portrait of Prince and Princess Asturias has captured their personalities. I wish Crown Princess Letizia wore another outfit.
