Wonderful portrait paintings by Ricardo Macarrón! Superb! Thanks for posting these here! Does anyone have the years for the other paintings that are not noted in the posts?

You're welcome, Gradduchess!

Here's another one of D Juan Carlos, by ANDRES CASTELLANOS:

Yes, I wonder now who'll be the painter in charge of Letizia's portrait. Considered as the official portraitist of the Spanish Royal Family, since 1967, when he painted queen Victoria Eugenia, it's hard to find now someone to replace him...

Another portrait of D. Juan Carlos, that can be found in Schmidt-Arkebek:

Well, again, this one is not an official portrait either, but the excentric figure of Jaime de Marichalar was also portrayed last year in the best Pop Art style. The picture was sold for 500 €, in a store of Madrid.

1. Ramón Segura has painted a couple of portraits of the Prince and Princess of Asturias, taking both the official photos of Casa Real as reference. The portraits can be found at the Casino Militar.

2. Pedro Lerma, who also painted the portraits of KJC, QS, the Prince and the Infantas, signs this one of the Princess of Asturias.

I don't know who's the author of these portraits, and the photos aren't the best of all, but anyway, here they are. I hope you like it ;)

1. Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia pass the portraits of Felipe's great-grand parents, King Alfonso and Queen Victoria Eugenia, at the Spanish Ambassador's residence in Washington. Don't know who was the painter, but both the portraits and the residence look pretty nice.

2. President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush sign a book of condolence in honor the memory of victims from the bomb attacks in Spain, beneath a portrait of King Juan Carlos, at the Spanish Ambassador's residence in Washington. Don't know who's the artist of this portrait, but it certainly looks very nice.

Great portraits and great painters. Extraordinary work, it was great to see all these portraits.:) :) :) :)

I especially liked the paintings of the children. Wouldn't you love to see one of Infanta Leonor?
