Don Jaime has four brothers and one sister. I think the gentleman on the right is his brother Alvaro, very good looking, an explorer who has done all kinds of naval adventures.

What joy to see the smiling face of Felipe, amongst his parents, his sister, grandparents and aunt/uncle. It´s obvious this child loves his family, especially his cousin Juan.
Nice family reunion and Infanta Elena always so elegant.

Did the king immediately fly out from Spain after this ceremony for the UEFA football match in Rome?
It always seems to me that the relationship between Juan Carlos and little Pablo is very close. It seems like whenever they do group shots, Pablo is always near his grandfather :)

Victoria federika looks a little sad...she is so tiny and thin. But when she smiles frankly, all her little face lights up and she is the greatest of the girls. I liked the pictures very much, and I'm happy she could have her father close to her in a so important day...even if I never liked Don Jaime de Marichalar much. Iñaki Urdangarín is much, but by far, much better than this one as a husband (my personal opinion)Vanesa.

Wonderful pics. it is so nice to see royal family together again.
I don't think little Victoria was sad. Maybe overhelmed, she seemed to be excited about her lovely dress.

I agree with you Lakshmi, I think Victoria was overwhelmed about the occasion. I still remember my first communion and the awe it was to dress like that.
Lovely photos of this RF and how good it is to see the presence of Dom Jaime (even smiling) and especially the great bond the Queen and King have with their grandchildren.

I like these two pictures. She looked mischievous.

Princess Elena's children usually look, IMO, unhappy or stressed-out. But they seem to have had a good day. I'm glad their parents were able to pull this together for them.
I've enjoyed the photos of the royal grandchildren. Christina's children are very attractive, and the Asturias infantas are cute and attractive. Sofia looks like she might be a handful. I think my favorite photo of her was one where she's holding onto the back of her father's leg, and the one where Leonor is cuddling her face. What cuties!
The king has actually looked engaged with the family on these recent occasions. I have been wondering whether he feels well recently.

The king always looks engaged when with his Urdangarin grandchildren (especially Pablo) or with the Marichalars (especially Felipe). He is more aloof with the Asturias girls, maybe because he can´t be so much at ease with them.
