Interesting to read her own take on her wedding; while I've seen it reference before it seems that the groom is only an afterthought; it's all about the bride and her family (mother) planning a big party. My family had little to do with our wedding; it was my husband and I getting married, so it was the two of us who were involved in wedding planning (I a bit more than he as he was abroad - but did for example designing invitations as that can be done from anywhere - and I wasn't).
I never saw those evening/dance pictures before (it seems); I hardly recognized M-C.
Lady Elizabeth Anson, friend of King Constantine and Queen Anna-Maria and curiously the woman that King Constantine hired to organize all the events of the Greek Royal House, from the 40th birthday of Queen Anna-Maria, until 50 birthday of King Constantine, the wedding of Prince Paul and the wedding of Princess Alexia ..... Also, she was also in Denmark at the silver wedding of the kings Constantine and Anna Maria, and it is curious the King Constantine in his Biography he thought at Lady Elizabeth Anson to organize the wedding, even in his autobiographical book there is a funny picture of Queen Elizabeth and King Constantine in a golf car, and Lady Elizabeth Anson joking with them.
it must have been very difficult to choose an Orthodox temple in London to the wedding.
