On 8 September 1933 Prince Knud of Denmark, 2n son of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine married his 1st cousin, princess Caroline athilde of Denmark, daughter of prince Harald of Denmark and Duchess Helena of Schleswig-Holstein. The couple married at Fredensbor Palace:
