It seems that former football player Patrick Kluivert, fashion designer Olcay Gulsen and one of those terrible singers from Volendam were the local celebrities that joined in.
From the brothers I gather that prince Floris was missing. It seems that the photographers got some competition of Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven, who did not skate but instead made photographs of the event.
There was also a 90km bicycle ride planned, but it was cancelled due to the cold & heavy winds.

Princess Margriet as Honorary President of the Red Cross together with Prince Pieter-Christiaan as Vice-President are visiting Red Cross projects in the field of disaster prevention in Haiti from November 8 - 12.

It remains interesting that Pieter Christiaan is the brother who has taken on most royal-like activities and responsibilities, while his wife seems the sister-in-law who is least interested in the royal aspect of her life.

It seems that the princess [Margriet] has given up ice-skating, but nice to see her there.
The glasses of Bernhard always seemed to have a life of their own, but this one is particularly eye-catching.
