On December 3 Princess Margriet as Patron of VISION 2020 Netherlands handed over a scientific report to Bruno Bruins, Dutch Minister for Medical Care, during a meeting in Den Haag. The report is entitled "Reducing avoidable visual impairment in elderly home healthcare patients by basic ophthalmologic screening".

On April 30 Princess Margriet and Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven attended a private meeting with relatives of the victims of the attack on Queen's Day 2009 in Apeldoorn.
Ten years ago a man had driven a car through a crowd of people who had watched the Royal Family, eight people including the assassinator had been killed, many had been injured.

Agreed. It is a shame that their marriage received so much negativity and misgivings, as he has proven himself to be a likeable and diligent royal. Has he ever put a foot wrong?

I couldn't match the parachute with archery but no parachute is involved  It's the para archery championship, so it makes sense for princess Margriet to attend as she is active in the paralympic movement.
