Guido,to your question on what Princess Anita does. She had plans to start her own design company, shoes, fashion etc,but has put that plan on hold. She did register her company,"Nita Design",at the chamber of commerce here in Amsterdam.
She's happy being a mom, don't know if she will pick up her initial plan or not.

Where did you hear she wanted to become a designer? I only saw it mentioned by herslef once, I think at the engagement or the wedding. I believe she said she wanted to do 'something' with clothes. Which might also be getting a shop?
I am not sure what she is doing now but I think I have read somewhere that she is a stay-at-home mom.

Thank you Lucien. But what had she done before became a mother? Motherhood is not a job.

Excuse me, but I think that the millions of women in this world who are mothers would stongly disagree with you. It might not be a job that women get paid for, but they bloody well should.
Motherhood is the most important job that there is, because no one in this world would grow up to be anything if they didn't have a mother in the first place. And what's more, being a mother can very well be a full time job. If you assume that the people that work in a creche have a job how on earth could parenting your own child not be a job???!!
You might want to rethink that one buddy.

Anyone who says that Motherhood in not a job has never been a mother full time. I have worked outside the home and I have been an at home mom for for the past 13 years. I would go back to work outside the home any day. If being at home was so easy than everyone would want to do it . I just looked outside my window and sorry but I do not see any lines of people wanting to change places with me!!!!!

Well, they hide the two youngest van Vollenhoven sons & wives (and Friso & Mabel) very well ont he website of the RF, I believe it is posted in the profile of Princess Margriet? They don't have a 'link' in the overview of their own (as they are no members of the RH).
Can't imagine that Anita would like to start a shop in Noordwijk btw.

According to Wikipedia:
Quote:
She studied English and literature at Leiden University and afterwards communications at the University of Amsterdam, where she graduated in 1996. During her university years, Anita undertook an internship in London at the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency. Anita was employed in 1997 by the Amsterdam branch of Bloomberg, and was subsequently sent to London for a stint in Sales/Marketing and Television Production. She then worked in the marketing department of auction house Christie’s.
