First of all, happy birthday to Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven! He looks such a nice person

Princess Aimee is IMO the most elegant and classy of the ladies. But Máxima's dress is very pretty as well.

The NOS broadcasted a special report and interview with the professor, in which he talked about his work for safe traffic, his parents, his brother, warm words about queen Juliana, etc etc. He was very open, relaxed and with a great sense of humor! In the end his wife came with a big bouquet of flowers.

His neighbours/gardener were interviewed, his sister-in-law, Geesje van Vollenhoven, several people who were helped by/ involved with the foundation victim help, the lady where he and his wife bought their dogs, 4 ex. prime ministers etc.

Pieter van Vollenhoven visited the parents of Karst T., the man who caused the Queen's Day tragedy in Apeldoorn. He visited the parents on Assunsion day. The parents did not want to comment about the visit to ANP. They only gave one interview to ANP, shortly after queen's day and they were in total shock.

Happy birthday to Pieter Van Vollenhoven. It seemed like a great party with almost all the family reunited around such a charming man.
