Do you know if they are still having that loud music problem with a disco close to their house?
I guess D. Duarte and his neighbours in Ferragudo were planning to do something against that disco. I really hope everything is ok this year and they can have some rest.

My understanding is that Sasha was still having those late-night parties... I hope with less noise.

It's not a new monarchist organization. It's just another new Real Associação (Royal Association). Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro didn't have any. Reais Associações are small associations present in most large cities of Portugal to promote the monarchist ideals.
If you're interested, here is the list of the Royal Associations in Portugal. Most links are not working
I didn't know there was a Real Associação in Mozambique

Yes, I hope that too.
D. Duarte and his wife have their summer house Casa da Infanta in Ferragudo (Algarve), for rent. Click here
The view is really amazing!

Good find, Regina!
The link states that it is a "former residence of the Portuguese royal family", but it doesn't give many details... It says that the lady in charge of the house "was housekeeper for the Princess until her death", but it doesn't say who's the Princess that owned the property...
Do you know further details on the background of this house?

the site says "summer residence belonging to the former Portugese Royal Family", but then says former residence, so which one is it?

According to Point de Vue (21 January 2003) the house was owned by the Infanta Filipa (1905-1990), daughter of Miguel, Duke of Bragança and granddaughter of King Miguel I.
It was either inherited or purchased by Dom Duarte who has since restored the house to a "comfortable and practical" state.

Thank you, Warren!
It does make sense... I checked the information now, and D.ª Filipa de Bragança actually died in Ferragudo, on July 7th 1990.
She didn't have children, so the house was probably inherited by her nephew.
Here's another website describing the house:

I liked to see D. Duarte walking with the Caipirinhas A gentleman, as the article says.

Walking with the caipirinhas? Are you referring to the Brazilian cocktails or to something else? ... if you do I suppose it would be more entertaining to see him walking after some of those...

Notícias TV published a photo of D. Duarte and D.ª Isabel having lunch with a party of friends, in a restaurant of Docas (Lisboa, September 26th):

Thanks Elsa! Do you have any idea what capes Dom Duarte and the other people on the picture are wearing? It seems to belong to some order?
