Especially the baptism of Dom Afonso was quite spectacular. The Archbishop wearing pre-Vaticanum II vestments including a huge mitre. Interesting that these baptisms took place in Braga, Vila Viçosa and Porto. No baotism in the capital Lisboa?

In times of the monarchy, baptisms were held in Lisbon in the royal palaces. But the Dukes of Bragança decided to baptize their children in Braga, Vila Viçosa and Porto.
