The coral dress was at the swedsih Wedding already 20 years old. Queen Sonja had worn exact the same dress/Jewel combination very often for example also at King Carl Gustaf's 50th birthday Gala Dinner in 1996.

Her most Norwegian outfit: smoked salmon sprinkled with dill!
It wasn't her best dress with the emerald parure, although I admire that she combines the emeralds with other colours then green.

I like all her tiaras. Even the gold wich i found much never than all other golden tiaras out there. But i wish she would use Queen Josephines Diamond tiara much more

I too would like to see her use the Queen Josephine tiara more than she does at the moment.

Does anybody know when this portrait was taken? It is the same gown and jewels as at Princess Märtha-Louise's wedding in 2002, but the hair is different.

I don't like the Modern Gold Tiara at all and its right up there with queen Margrethe's golden poppies in my least favourite tiara list!

On February 3 Queen Sonja wore some yummy big pearls, a necklace of pearls in degrading size and earrings with a pearl and a diamond each.

Yesterday Queen Sonja wore Queen Maud's pearl and diamond tiara at a diplomatic dinner in Oslo. She also threw in a couple of pearls, a choker and a long rope of pearls. Lovely, if you ask me.

I had forgotten about the original tiaras theft from Garrards in 1995,the replica is almost as good as the original!
