I like this tiara with the green tourmalines and not so much with the red stones. The necklaces and the bracelets are impressive too. The earrings are not my cup of tea though. They don't look elegant, IMO.

I like these brooches a lot. The necklace is nice, but she shouldn't have worn it with this dress. It doesn't feel right, IMO.

Agree, love everything but the necklace- choakers are hard to pull off. Diana's pearl/saphire set is one of the few I ever admired.

I prefer the tiara without the crosses. It is easy to understand why Queen Sonja wears it rarely. But her hairstyle is very good with it.

I'm not really a fan of this tiara either - no matter if with or without the crosses...
I'm curious which tiara she'll wear for the gala dinner in Croatia. My guess is the small version of the Pearl Tiara.

I hope you are right, as the Pearl Tiara is really beautiful. But it might also be the golden Star Wars Tiara

I like base of this tiara, but with the crosses is too much, especially placed like that. Not very attractive. The diamond necklace is amazing, the earrings too.

I disagree! Although I don't like the tiara design, it has a historical value and mustn't be broken up ! I think that it's quite good without the crosses and appropriate for low key State Visits.

A nice picture of the Queen with the Maltheser tiara from Kongehuset:
Queen Sonja Maltheser Tiara
In this thread you can see that there are three ways to wear the tiara with the crosses.
Queen Sonja never wore the tiara the way Queen Maud did.
