I like all of Silvias tiaras but she do have 3 of the most beutiful tiaras that has ever been made anywhere in the world.
The Braganza Tiara, The Sapphire Tiara and The Cameo Tiara :)

It's sad that they don't have matching tiaras to the pink topazes and to the bernadotte emeralds.

Both appearances are disappointing. First that awful Connaught Tiara and now the Baden Fringe Tiara, she should have left that to Victoria to wear. The brooch is big though.

We all have our opinions. In my opinion the Connaught Tiara is awful because it is not regal at all, it looks like it was made to some fairytale movie. It could be worn as a necklace though.

The Connaught diamond tiara is not awful at all. In fact, the closeup look in your link above shows what a magnificent piece of jewelry that tiara is. The Baden fringe on the other hand is quite appropriate for a German state visit due to its German provenance, and it is also an impressive tiara with 47 (!) diamond rays.

She looked wonderful in both tiaras. I am sure she wore the Baden because of her visit and her hair really looked gorgeous with it not to mention all the other jewels. Same earrings each night?

Thank God she was wearing 2 different tiaras in a row.
Thank God we have seen her in the Baden Fringe again - after many many years.
Thank God Queen Silvia can surprise me again and again with a new piece of jewellery!

The Baden Brooch! What a pleasant surprise! Did she hide it in the vaults for Decades? Impressive! What a treat that she took it out for the State Visit! German Jewel - German Visit :flowers::flowers::flowers:

PS: since when is she wearing ear helpers?

the new Victoria of Baden's brooch is grand.
cant believe we have not been worn by any royal ladies since victoria.... what other jewllery are there in the voults.......

The Queen looks fa-bu-lous and what a nice surprise to see such a long not seen broche.

The Baden Brooch is so regal looking, does anyone know when it was last worn, what a great surprise for the royal jewel watchers!

Isn't that standard for massive earhangers? Such a hook around the earlobe?

Hi Duc,
in this case I have the impression this is not a hook around the earlobe, it is inside the ear, so it may be a hearing aid (i.e. an acoustic hearing apparatus)???

It is hard to tell. On this picture it also looks like Crown Princess Victoria is wearing a hearing aid, but it is a hook for her earhangers: picture.

Indeed I often wonder how the royal ladies can so unconsciously wear such heavy and valuable ear jewelry; clearly such hooks serve the purpose well of keeping the things on!:flowers:

Swedish press has written that queen Silvia has had a hearing aid for some years. This photo is from Nobel 2015.

That tiara is gegeous, but the blue just doesn't make the same effect on the rest of the jewellery pieces!

I am such a huge sapphire girl, this necklace and tiara are faves. It is why I am do disappointed. Her mumu is so overwhelming, the beauty of the necklace is lost.

As beautiful as the sapphires are this alternating between them and the nine pronge tiara has become boring because is so predicable

Although I had hoped that she wear the Cameo tiara, I am always glad to see this tiara. It is amazing.

Silvia is wearing the Nine Prong tiara tonight:

One of my least favorites in the family. Although I dislike the "prongs", I find the rest of the tiara stunning.
