That antler tiara must sit just right on her head. There is no other reason IMO for her to wear it as often as she does when there are other lovely tiaras in the collection.

I don' t like this tiara but some how on Queen is nice!

For some reason this tiara gives me fairytale "evil queen" vibes.

Queen Silvia should have worn the Connaught Ruby tiara to match the national colors of Canada, but, unfortunately, she never wears that tiara nowadays.

Its really a tiara I associate with Crown Princess Victoria, queen Silvia has worn in the past and wears it well.

Queen Silvia shouldn't wear the Baden Fringe Tiara, she should left it to Victoria to use. If the queen didn't want to wear any "big" tiaras because this wasn't a state visit, she could have worn the Ruby tiara or the Amethyst tiara.

I love to see Silvia in the Baden Fringe Tiara ! It looks equally well on her as on Victoria. I hope she will wear it more in the future as she gets older and maybe wants to wear smaller tiaras more frequently :)

To compare with the royal jewels, swedish drag artist Christer Lindarw, who has performed as queen Silvia for decades. Lindarw yesterday evening at Victoriadagen concert in Borgholm.

Wow! How nice to see Queen Silvia with the Amethyst tiara again, even though her hair actually isn't that good this time.

So great to see her in this tiara. It's been since 2011 since she last wore it. It flatters the dress greatly.

Why is King Carl Gustaf wearing the sash of the Seraphim while Queen Silvia is not ?

I don't know really, but it is not the first time this happens. The National Day Gala in Luxembourg and the Wedding Banquet in Monaco are just to examples when the lades don't wear orders while the men do.

Those big stones are really stunning, I love their deep luscious purple color. The tiara can be tricky to place and its black base tends to show.
The amethyst necklace and earrings...magnificent!

There has to be a way to fit that tiara on to another base.

:previous:That is one very beautiful piece of jewelry and I also wondered if it was a new piece. It looks a bit old so maybe it is an antique from some where. Pearls, diamonds and amethyst, just my cup of tea!

Just love the necklace and like the way the pearls and diamond spacers go beautifully with the gold set amythyst pendant

Close up. At this close up it doesn't look beautiful at all.

I have read some posts on the royal jewels message board that these pearls look fake.

I don't know where people get there opinion from - if you look at the close-up you can see the tiny spots on the pearls which are a clear proof that they are natural!

To me, these are clearly cultured pearls, as opposed to fresh water pearls
