She seems to prefer a chunkier style of watch for non-evening attire.....I will try to post photo of one. I am always fascinated by watches. Does anyone else have photos of QR's? I saw one posted but could not open image. Thank you.

maryshawn I hope you can see some wristwatches in the pictures I've posted. I tried to find as many as I can.

Indeed, a beautiful necklace. Thanks cute_girl for remark and posting :)
Jordanian traditional jewels are beautiful like other jewels in arab/ME region. It's nice to see Rania wearing them as often as she can.
I post down a picture from gettyimages where models wear traditional dress and jewels.

Caption: AMMAN, JORDAN: Jordanian models display 30 July oriental fashion in the ancient amphitheatre of Jerash during the 17th Jerash Art and Music festival. Arab and foreign singers, poets, theatre performers and ballet companies are taking part in this two-week festival in the former Greco-Roman city.

Nice close up!
She always wear this ring, in every ocasion..

What a coincidence! I was just going to post pictures of Rania's turquoise ring. I noticed that she started wearing it around 2003. I have also seen Princess Noor wearing a similar ring.
Here we go: some of the pictures dont show a very good view of the ring so you have to look carefully.

you know im sorry I dont. I do remember that I saw the picture on Petra. Princess Noor was wearing a black suit and it was soon after her marriage (not reception) to Prince Hamzah, in 2003 I believe. I'll go through other pictures of hers and see if I can find one where she's wearing the ring.

Do you know by chance the background or significance of that blue ring?
Thanks ~*~Humera~*~.

queen noor wearing the same kind of blue ring:confused: !Are they supersticioius in the JRF?

Yes, in did it is. I read that the person that wear that stone is protect. But is a rare stone, and normally pass the generation in generation. The spanish royal famelly have one to, but give the oposite. It semes that he bring everything excepet look. So they lock the ring and no1 wear him.

Personally,i don't believe in power of stones:) !One should feel itself insecure and tenuous minded to put it destiny between hands of talismans, charms and stones!:D

Thanks ~*~Humera~*~.

well as some of the other members have pointed out, the turquoise may be believed to have some symbolic significance, warding off evil and that sort of thing. Although I believe Queen Noor is the one who believes in that kind of thing the most. But that still explains why the stone might have a special significance to the royal family. So far though, I have not seen the daughters of the royal family wearing similar rings, ie. King Hussein's daughters, his sister etc.
I dont think I've seen Princesses Rym or Alia al-Faisal wear one either. Perhaps only the spouses of the King and crown prince are meant to wear it? Princess Noor was still Crown Princess in 2003 when she wore her turqoise ring. Im just guessing though...who knows what the real story behind all of this is. Still, I find it all very interesting.

I don't know if Q.noor more or less believes than Q.rania, they both wear such as rings with talisman stones!

I don't believe that wearing this kind of stones is related to something with being the spouse of the king,i saw one pictures where P.haya(who is not a king's wife) wearing a pendant and ring with the some kind of stone, and other Sheick Mo.seems to be converted to that,he him self was wearing a pendant of turquoise:confused: !

So i think they are superstitious in the JRF and believe in jalousy around them:confused:  as said rania in one of her interviews:D !
