The brooch from the diamonds-and-rubies "Peacock" parure, to be more precise. Together with diadem, collier, earhangers and the bracelets, the brooch is an item of a parure.

Isn't the Round Sapphire Brooch part of Queen Emma's Sapphire Parure?

The diamond broche originates from the 1930's when Queen Wilhelmina was first seen with it. Back then the centrestone was a green emerald, see this broche worn by the then 76 years old and very weary Princess Wilhelmina: picture. The blue sapphire now set as a centrestone is most likely taken from jewels left by Queen Anna Pavlovna of the Netherlands, Grand-Princess of Russia.

As Josine Droogendijk noted, one of the sapphire earring pendants -on her right- seemed to be ill-attached and about to drop of. Hopefully HM noticed on time.

The Emeralds are stunning and the jewels were just perfect.

The bracelet is really gorgeous. Since I'm not particularly following bracelets, I don't know it's history. Is it from the family collection? While emeralds really suit Queen Maxima, the tiara still lacks two prongs. It just looks a bit unbalanced with the small prongs pushed to the ends.

On March 14, 2023, Queen Maxima wore this bracelet in Den Bosch, Holland. I cannot remember seeing this bracelet before and I don't know if it looks the way it does because of the lighting and the photography. It looks like yellow metal and red stones.
