Not just older, but a bit larger If you put on some weight, you choose something darker.

The emerald tiara does look so well on Alexandra and it looks less pointy here. Wondering will it be her wedding tiara and she is "rehearsing" here

It looks good on her but I am surprised to see it on the princess.It is the first time it is used by somebody else than the Grand Duchess? Unlike most people I like the tiara, but I do like most art-deco tiaras.

Yes, afaik it wasn't worn since the Nobels in 2012. A pretty long time for such a significant tiara to stay in the vaults. For a long time I had thought that this is one of the tiara that was reserved for the GD. Obviously, I was wrong. It looks good on Alexandra, but I still think that the pointy outline is a bit weird.
