Jewels worn by Members of the Spanish Royal Family
Infanta Cristina of Spain wearing her mothers diamond tiara, a prussian heirloom from her mother Queen Fredrike of Greece (nee Hanover). Then Princess of Greece, HM Queen Sofia of Greece wore this at her own wedding to Infante Juan Carlos of Spain in 1962.
This beautiful tiara was given to Infanta Elena at her 1995 wedding by Don Jaimies Family. The small, simple, yet beautiful diamond tiara, Constists of three levels. One of Greek Key Motif, the second of Leaves of Wheat, and the bottom of Circles. The tiara is currently in the Infanta's possession. I am hoping that it either stays in the family or is given to HE Frederika de Maricilar......
Does she own her own Tiara? This is the same tiara Letizia wore at her wedding, isn't it?
I don't think Infanta Cristina owns her own tiara, but rather she borrows her mother's. The tiara that Letizia wore to her wedding belongs to Queen Sofia; it was brought by her from Greece when she became the Spanish Crown Princess. The tiara is sometimes used by Infanta Cristina and was borrowed from the queen.
