Thank you so much Ana! I had never seen Infanta Pilar or Margarita wearing tiaras before! It seems like Pilar definitely has very beautiful jewelery.

Letitiza will receive a new tiara she will be free to wear it without asking and sharing with the others infantas. It is the only reason I found!

Well, correct me if I am wrong, but she is the only CP, who does not have a tiara "on her own":
MM: Wedding Flower Tiara
Mathilde: Wedding Gift Tiara
Maxima: apart from her full "flower pot" of Tiaras, her "Wedding Star Tiara"
Masako: The CP Tiara
Mary: Her 2 (3) Tiaras
Victoria: Spike Tiara (as well as others to share)
So I completely understand, that she does not always want to share the few Tiaras with the Queen as well as the 2 Infantas. She deserves it!
And we wil be happy as well seeing a new substancial item added to the Royal collection.

Máxima doesn't own any real tiara herself. She received two odd modern 'tiara's', which are unwearable (one is a silver polo helmet). The star tiara is an alteration of Queen Anna's leaf tiara. Neither the base of the tiara nor the stars are her property, the jewels are part of a foundation. She does have some private jewels, most notably the tutti fruti necklace.
I don't think the Swedish fringe tiara is Victoria's property either, but it belongs to a Bernadotte jewel foundation.

Victoria got the awful sapphire for her 18th birthday, and at least she doesn't have to share the Baden fringe tiara. Afaik she is the only one who wears it these days.
And Maxima has so many tiaras at her disposal that it doesn't really matter that she she doesn't own one personally, imo.
Infanta Elena has her own tiara from her ex-husband's family, the Queen hasn't worn the Prussian tiara for ages. So there is only Christina to share it with, and Christina only needs a tiara every couple of years when attending big events abroad. But the problem might be the reputed bad relationship between Letizia and Christina? Sharing is easier when you like the person whom you share with.
But the Spanish royals have a fairly small tiara collection, so that it makes perfect sense to enlarge it by making a new one for the Princess of Asturias. They should have done so at the wedding and there wouldn't have been any fuzz about it.

Yes, I think so. No state visits, no appearance at the Monaco wedding (which still puzzles me), nothing.
