Princess Sophie von Isenburg wore the Isenburg family tiara at the wedding service when she married Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia
[DNF] Fotoarchief Denieuwsfoto Postdam
For the evening reception she wore the meander tiara from the Prussian family. It was a wedding present to Crown Princess Cecilie and was also worn by GF's grandmother princess Kira at her wedding. I hope to see it more often on Sophie, it's a classic beauty of a tiara!

Princess Kelly of Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha wore the turquoise parure which she also wore at the wedding of Victoria and Daniel.

2 The guy on the right is Prince Dominik of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (his mother is Princess Anastasia of Prussia). The other two may be his sister, Princess Christina and her husband Guido von Rohr.

5 Prince Adalbert & Princess Eva-Marie of Prussia

Thank you Warren...it is so interesting to see so many German tiaras in one place...

Btw,on the other board, forum member "ashdean" informed us that tiara of Duchess Donata von Mecklenburg-Schwerin belonged to her mother Barbara and originated from Princess Irene of Prussia, nee Hessen und Rhein...

Picture number 1: Duchess Caroline von Oldenburg, nee Countess zu Rantzau...

Picture number 3: Count Manto, Countess Eva and Countess Marie zu Castell-Rüdenhausen...

Thank you for those wonderful pictures, Marc23! I just love the picture of the laughing princess of Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha!
Is there anything known about the history of the floral tiara the Princess of Löwenstein is wearing?

Her dripping in diamonds may be explained by the fact she is Hereditary Duchess Caroline, married to Hereditary Duke Christian of Oldenburg.
Christian is heir to his father Anton Gunther, Duke of Oldenburg, Head of the Grand Ducal House.

"Dripping" is quite the right word, especially for that necklace! And those star earrings and the brooch matching the tiara....yummy! But it is still devastating that we have only seen a fraction of the jewellery worn at the Prussian wedding.

Yes,it could be just that...when I saw the picture I didn't know who she is,but when you see such jewelry it is sign that it might be someone "imortanat"(Hereditary Grand Duchess as Warren said)

What impresses me also is a tiara of Princess Marie Louise zu Castell-Castell...I think it's a Waldeck piece of jewelry!

Is this the same diamond necklace which Princess Kelly wore at her wedding day? I find it strange that it is worn as a necklace when it also could be worn as a tiara.

It's the same. However I'm not sure there's any evidence of it being convertable to a tiara, plus it's always referred to as a 'necklace'.
This 2nd link to Royal Magazin [below] shows it to be a full 360° jewel, which would make it more of a coronet than a tiara if placed on a frame.
If if was easily covertable, it's a fair assumption that Erbprinzessin Kelly would have worn it as a tiara on her wedding day rather than being tiaraless but stunningly necklaced.
Whatever the case, it's certainly a most glittering and impressive jewel.

-> Albany Diamond Necklace

Thanks, Warren! It is a stunning necklace and it might make a nice small bandeau. But as a full circle it wouldn't work, imho.

The Albany diamond necklace is absolutely beautiful and would make a lovely tiara too. Luxurious but not overdone. The brooch in the centre of the photograph would make a lovely hair piece in just the right hair style.

I'm starting to think the Saxe Coburg Gotha's only have the turquoise parure and the diamond necklace, because Kelly didn't wear a tiara on her wedding day, just the necklace. Both times Kelly wore a tiara it was the turquoise one, and now Stephanie is tiara-less but with the diamond necklace.

Duke Karl Eduard and his wife had two surviving sons and two surviving daughters (Sibylla, the King of Sweden's mother, and Karoline Mathilde, who married a Count of Castell-Rüdenhausen).
The eldest son, Prince Friedrich Josias, also had two sons and two daughters (Princess Claudia married a commoner and Princess Beatrice married Prince Friedrich-Ernst of Saxe-Meiningen).

It's possible that the Saxe-Coburg jewellery collection has been progressively dispersed so that the current Head of the Ducal House, Prince Andreas, has only a few serious pieces left. But then, the Saxe-Coburg Ducal Family could hardly be classed as poor and wouldn't find the purchase of a nice tiara (or two) beyond their means. Perhaps they have a similar experience and similar attitude to their Coburg cousins in Brussels when it comes to serious jewels.

Years ago the Saxe Coburg Gotha family sold a lot of their jewellery in an auction, f.ex. their rubies.
The late Prince Johannes of Thurn und Taxis ( incredible Gloria's husband) bought his wife the earrings:Sachsen-Coburg Kohari| Diadem - Tiara - Rubin Schmuck
