I don't know what you call it -- it seemed more a memorial service to Rainier. And Albert is getting another ceremony later in the fall.

Well, I know there was a memorial service first, at which Char wore the white dress, in the Monaco Cathedral. Then there was the event at the palace: Albert's speech, and the key ceremony, in which he was presented with the keys of Monaco, and ball following the presenting of the keys, at which Char wore the Alberta Ferretti dress. There were also fireworks. If I'm forgetting some aspect of the festivities, anyone please feel free to add to that, or correct me if I made a mistake.

Just a thought... Do you think Caroline will give a tiara for Char to wear when she gets married? If Char even opts to have one? Which one do you think it will be?

Here are the jewels that Charlotte wore to the Red Cross Ball

They are the same ones (except the necklace) that she wore to PA's coronation ball. I wonder if her mother bought these for her or if they're part of Caroline's collection?

I think you mean she wore those earrings to the Monaco National Day opera performance. The enthronement ball was in the summer and to that event, she wore these post teal?colored earrings, if memory serves.

Yes, CasiraghiTro, you're right, if that's the event where she wore the white dress above then yes that is what I am talking about, Thanks!:)

Well, in the picture that you posted she was at the Rose Ball (not Red Cross). I think (but I'm not very sure) that she wore the same earrings to the opera on Monaco National Day. I'll have to look at the pics again to be sure. They are absolutely gorgeous earrings, aren't they? I have been searching for a pair like them for some time now, both on the internet and out and about at different places, so far no luck, but I think I might be too picky because I want some exactly like hers (without paying the price of hers, of course! haha)
Hey, I just noticed this for the first time. On Charlotte's brooch in this pic (original source was hola.com)
http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...1&d=1126260656
Are those stones her birthstone (peridot)? They look like the right color to be.
I've always wondered if this brooch was a loan to her from Caroline's or Grace's collection, or maybe it was made just for her from some old piece and the birthstones were set in it for her.

It was Alberts enthronement not a coronation.
I like Charlotte's jewellry its very age appropriate. I think her future jewels and tiara (if applicable) will be dependent on Alberts romantic life, if he marries it think its unlikly aside from her wedding, if he dosen't we will definately see her in some stunners

"loanars" of Caroline
Yes Casiraghitrio, defnitelly... The necklace Charlotte used with the white dress in the « entrhonment of her uncle or whatever celebriation it was in the church » is Caroline's. Just seek for old Caroline pictures, you'll find her wearing it.

I prefer the earrings in the second photo on Charlotte. The other ones were too big for her and not so tasty.

Do we know anything about some of the rings she wears, or has worn over the years?
