Victoria wore this bracelet at the gala dinner of the German state visit, and it is speculated that it could be from the back chain from the Edward VII ruby tiara, which makes it to a necklace.

Could it be that countess Marianne Bernadotte had the bracelet at the wedding of Jan Bernadotte and Gunilla Stampe in 1965?

I have read speculations that the bracelet might be part of the ruby set and can be used to turn the tiara into a necklace. If that is correct, then it's quite natural that the bracelet returned to the main line RF together with the ruby tiara.

I was never a fan of the design of the Edward VII ruby tiara but in saying that was happy to see it returning to the main line.

I agree. It is to high and relativ short. One element more at each side would be better. I think that this is also a reason it is rarely used by Queen Silvia as it seem's to be difficult to wear with modern hairstyles.

Pity it was never redesigned as it might have made it easier to wear.

I agree, the shape of the tiara is anything but ideal for modern hairstyles. But the Queen Silvia manages to carry it well. And I'm always glad to see it worn, just for the sake of diversity.

But I wonder what it had looked like on the belle epoque hairstyle of CP Margaret. Maybe she has never worn it for portraits because she didn't like it even back then?

That sapphire and diamond brooch is a lovely piece. They made beautiful pieces back in the day. I also like the other pieces Prss Cristina is wearing.

And Lady Finn a great find of the old photos of the Ladies.

Princess Désirée had this brooch at the Nobel festivities in 1961. I don't remember seeing it before.

The brooch is a bit more visible in this picture.
I don't recognize it either.

At an auction at Uppsala Auction Chamber was sold in December 2019:

Letter from Sigvard and Marianne Bernadotte included.
Provenance
Possibly a wedding gift to Crown Princess Margareta (1882–1920) and Gustaf VI Adolf (1882‑1973) in 1905. Thereafter by inheritance to Sigvard Bernadotte (1907‑2002) and later a gift to the current owner.
