Strange question... I guess if he was able to walk alone he would prefer to do so, wouldnt he?
His Majesty walks with a walking stick since an (hip ?)operation he had undergone a couple of years ago. Both his parents had been long gone at the Kings age; so it is not unnatural to see him a bit frail at 75.
Ive seen several new interviews with him in the couple of months and there were no indications whatsoever of a stroke or something. His talk was natural and fluent.

The news commentary program 'Istories', ('Stories' on ΣΚΑΪ TV, Tuesday 31/05 , presented His Majesty King Constantine's interview, the recording of which took place at the Yacht Club of Greece.
Some extracts from the interview:
For if the scenario of restoration is expired replied: "There is no end and no beginning. I watch the whole thing was to evolve into the hands of the Greek people. They decide what they want, they decided two times if I remember correctly, to restore the kingdom after he had gone. Now if you want again theirs is "while elsewhere said:" I will shake my finger to get the kingdom back, the Greeks, I will not do it 'will.
For that leaves open the possibility of turning as monarch replied that "I will not pursue it. Not going to do it, that I do not see that it would be worth to the people. If only become of you will accept. But what is the mechanism to do so, no. "
Whether to assume another role as the ambassador replied: "Why go into a huddle to say Englishmen If, If all? It can be done? No way. So why talk about it. Secondly, I am not the former king Constantine I, King Constantine, period. This does not change anything, I am the former or former or whatever you prefer, King of Greece, yes, but I'm the King Constantine will never change.
King Constantine said his decision to return to Greece, that "I always go back to Greece, now happened to be difficult periods, instead I felt that I could help as I can here" and never recorded in Greece did not feel persona non grata .
Asked if turning back time would choose not brought into conflict with Papandreou replied that "if I had occasion many things I did then you I did today but will I pay more attention" and a question whether to swear and again the government junta said: "absolutely would swear in any case there is no doubt, because do not forget that we are in unknown and when I say unknown I mean that no one had the power at that time, the only one who had power if he wanted to exercise was me, but who listened to that time, the situation was very strange, but I would swear the government. "
"Neither I nor my son wants to conquer politics. I do not think that is appropriate, we are not politicians, not know this job, "he said about whether he or his son Nikolaos prepares a party or going to participate in one. "I have the impression that Greece has too many politicians, in fact I would say that almost have had enough of politicians they want another above, do you?" He added.

An article from Kathimerini (dated 12/04/2016) around the proposed position mentioned in the above interview
Political Unity eyes ambassadorial role for former Greek King | News | ekathimerini.com
All I can say about this is that it bares out what the DoE said about monarchies being let down not by their opponents but by their supporters
If C and his children don't want to get involved with politics, given that these are the people encouraging them I can see why

It is obvious that discontent in Greece has made many people see to the Former King and his son Prince Nikolaos as future candidates for politics, because many people think they could bring investment to the country and it would be good..... .
In the current Greek political and economic situation have appeared new political parties, many are formed by celebrities, newscasters, ex models ... and also, in the Greek parliament have arrived new politicians, you can see to them with dresses shirt, jeans, some shirts with messages written ... Some they speak very bad(a very vulgar language, uneducated) , many people are upset because they think that such political profile can not attract investment to the country . There are many people who think that if all these political parties are in the parliament, why not the King?
They see sympathy with ex King Constantine and Prince Nikolaos, the King and Prince are educated, speak well and they are aware of the protocol, diplomacy, have good relations with monarchies, and with foreign leaders ...The art of diplomacy.
Many people, think they would be good election to candidates to politic, they take as a reference to Simeone of Bulgaria.
And there politicians who are using this idea , a ex King like politician, to seek to attract the vote .
Until this day, I read in newspapers all, that if the King is a friend of Tsipras, that Nikolaos is going with New Democracy, which has met with Kostas Karamanalis to enter politics, If King Constantine is behind of this or .. political party, rumors created by the press, even impossible, Nikolaos and Georgios Papandreou also talk hahaha
But the reality is that those comments, only are taking advantage of the sympathy that exists between many Greek to the idea of a former King like political, or a political prince, to attract the vote.
King Constantine in the interview of SKAI answered them all,he said that Nikolaos and he, did not went to get into politics. He does not think it's appropriate, he said" we are not politicians, we do not know this work,".
"An ambassador for Greece." Constantine of Greece said in SKAI, it is a impossible figures

HM would be daft, and He certainly isn't.. to engage himself and any other Member of his House in the present political and economical mess in which Greece unfortunately finds itself with Syriza..and ofcourse decades of money squandering and simple bad economic policies and avant le lettre corruption to a fault.People might easily expect a miracle if HM or PN would be involved in any service for their country, and despite extensive explaining beforehand people might still think he can perform miracles...No,Greece will have to deal with Syriza first and get them out of power by vote, and pronto...because it is really deeply sad to hear & see the rifraf in present day Greek Parliament, including the "gang leader"..my goodness....even plain is an understatement of sorts.....But about the initial issue,ambassador..nah... they would "politisize|any service of HM...
He's been hit way too often by the Greek State over the past decades to let him be used by Syriza governed Hellas.

In a interview in channel, SKAI, in May, the King was clear, the journalist asked to him by these rumors , King replied that he and his son are not in Greece to work in politics. They are not politicans.
He also recalled that he has never voted for anyone. No one can insinuate his political ideology because he has never voted.

In the past he was a Flamboyant young King and Anne Marie was the youngest Queen but they look happy , that is the most important.
