I have read that King Constantine could receive medical discharge next week and no this week. He will celebrate Christmas in the hospital:sad::sad::sad:. He could receive the new year in his house
 
Thanks for the updates on the king's health hopefully he'll be home for New Years.
 
Yes, this is true, the press says that he is improving, responds well to treatment..., but he has other pathologies for a long time, and this makes it necessary to control him. But he is fine, and he will soon be discharged.

I wish him to leave the hospital before Christmas, but if it cannot be,
it is good too ,Pneumonia is serious, and it is important to heal completely and then leave the hospital.
 
I have seen in the Facebook group "the greek royal family", that the King has not yet been discharged, and we are 48 hours away from closing the year, I begin to think that King Constantine will also receive the year in the hospital, I hope that this is not the case, and that he soon recovers.

She seems extremely sad and concerned. My prayers go for King Kostantin. He was born under the best auspices but unfortunately had not a good life. He did not merit what happened and payed the prices for other's mistakes. At least he has a wonderful family.
Same for Queen Anne-Marie.

As for discharging him before the new year I don't think it is possible, and if it happens the King shouldn't return home. He will be far from any hospital incase of emergency. A Hotel solution or staying at Prince Nikolaos home should be better.

The king must not be well enough to be discharged what a tough Christmas and New Years for the Greek RF.

Has the Crown Prince paid a visit to Greece since his father was taken ill ?
 
A visit by the Crown Prince to Greece has not yet been reported since the King was hospitalized. It is also unknown whether Princess Alexia, Princess Theodora and Prince Philippos have been to Greece since the King was hospitalized.
 
Based on Instagram, no one seems too worried. Philippos is skiing in Switzerland, and Pavlos was at a restaurant with his family for Christmas.

While I'm sure Queen Anne-Marie is concerned about her husband, I wonder if the pictures happened to capture her in moments when she seemed particularly upset.
 
Perhaps it is Constantines wish that he does not want that his children are travelling to Greece and visit him.
 
Was King Constantine released from the hospital? I haven't seen any news for a while.
 
King Constantine was discharged last week, the Greek press stopped reporting about the news on December 23 because according to medical information ( not official) he was very well and after Christmas, he would be discharged, and so it has been. He is, within his pathologies, in good health.I can't say the exact day, but he was discharged last week.

Oh dear, indeed. Hopefully it's just for observational purposes since he was just there.
 
I hope King Constantine recovers quickly and the symptoms are mild.

Unfortunately it I'm afraid but should be more serious. The Covid protocol is very strict and they don't admit people just for observation. Don't forget it is a public hospital with not endless capacity.

It's not a strict observation so much as "just having been there with pneumonia" would seem to warrant it, and I hope it's not more dire. But I was just trying to think of the most optimistic terms.

Are there no private hospitals in Greece or do the royal family not use them?
 
I personally have doubts about this news. Because I have read it, this morning on an unknown website, and it gave me the feeling that this web was trying to extend false information, for this reason, I have not commented on anything, then I have seen that in similar webs have spreadied the information on the net until it has reached a known medium who has only "copied and pasted".. I personally believe that it could be a Fake News.
I hope the King's office says something. For the moment, I prefer to wait for an official statement and this even if the news says that it is slight

Covid people are admitted only in public hospitals.
In her previous sickness the King was in private hospital (Ygeia).
But with Covid they have to go only in public ones.

I wonder if Queen Anne-Marie will still be able to travel to Denmark for the 50th anniversary of Queen Margrethe's succession. Last week they announced that she would take part in some events.
 
Will queen Anne-Marie travel with the back king in hospital?
 
I guess it depends on his condition. I imagine they would also have to consider if she had been exposed herself.
 
I was thinking as much myself if it would be cancelled :previous:
