Well, they always point out this was a private celebration, not a state occasion. In "normal" families even toddlers join in the silver or golden weddings of their grandparents...
So why shouldnt a 14, 16 year old not attend a "formal" dinner held within the family?! By the way I didnt notice grown-up Maria Olympia, too!

Look at what Zimbio/ Getty says:
Alexander, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia and Katherine, Crown Princess of Greece arrives for a private dinner organized by former King Constantine II of Greece and former Queen Anne-Marie to celebrate their Golden wedding anniversary at the Yacht Club of Greece in Piraeus, Greece, 18 September 2014.
The CP of Serbia is "of Yugoslavia" and his wife is the CPss of Greece.....!!! Shame on you, Zimbio!
I do love this one, though: Golden Wedding Anniversary in Greece - Pictures - Zimbio

Golden wedding anniversary, Sept. 18th 2014
The pictures are lovely and it must have been very special for Their Majesties to have the celebrations in Greece. Even the service in Athens Cathedral seemed very regal.
It is such a shame that none of their grandchildren attended! A lovely family picture to mark the milestone would be wonderful.

Was there? Any pics from the service?! Ive been seeing only photos from the 2 evening events.
I find Queen AM was still the most beautiful of all women assembled (sorry, younger princesses!)!

After the religious ceremony, was celebrated a lunch with the guests in the gardens of the Britain Hotel. Queen Margrethe had arrived that morning to the Hotel. In the ceremony, the Orthodox church recovered two thrones with coat of Greek royal family, these thrones were in the 1964 ceremony, look at the picture.

Yes, as long as theres no monarchy in Greece, theyll be the last king and queen. And no, Pavlos and MC will definitely not be styled King and Queen. No kingdom, no King and Queen.
